Admittedly, I keep it pretty simple. Most of the time I'm wearing ABC pants and solid colored tee.

I like the concept more than the execution.
I agree. I think they should have dropped the "resolution" down to 8-bit, but I bet that would have been costly.
I'm wading into waters I am completely unfamiliar with but I need some new leisure shoes and I am looking for recommendations. I thought about going through the entire thread but damn thats over 400 pages.
Since 2017 I have worn Allbirds almost exclusively for my every day shoes, slip ons, sandals, and even running shoes. I've owned just about every style they have produced, including different versions of the same shoe, exclusive colorways, materials, etc. I'm purchased so many that until they shut it down, I was part of the marketing focus group and received free shoes for review. Needless to say, I spent a lot of money on Allbirds.
But times they are a changing and I really need to mix things up. What I really liked about them initially aside from the comfort was the wide variety and vibrancy of the colorways. Now Allbirds are just different versions of sad beige.
Some things I am looking for
-Comfortable to wear around all day. Running errands, walking around, but not for exercising or say spending a day at Disney World
-Stylish, maybe a classic or Retro look
-I'm not set on a specific color, material, etc
-Preferably low or mid top
-I'm not selective on the brand or manufacturer either
Any ideas?
The kid in me is telling me to fork out the money for the shoes I always wanted but my parents could never afford. The Converse Larry Johnson Grandmama Aero Jams. I just don't think they are all that practical

Dunks if you want more style over comfort (although dunks are perfectly fine for running errands, etc.) On Clouds, Hokas, or Ultraboosts if you want something more comfortable. You should be able to walk into a place like Dick's to try on all of these and see what you think feels the best.
Lots of shoes out there that would reasonably fit your needs. I have a pair of Air Force Ones with the fabric uppers, pretty comfortable to wear all day.

These are what you want. They go with everything and are very comfortable. I wore them on vacation in Chicago and one day we walked at least 15 miles - no issues.

The obvious first option would be Yeezy 350s. Better go now if you want some because they aren't coming back and will only go up in price over the next couple of years.
Another option would be something from the 9 series by New Balance. You can get colorful if you look for a Freshgoods collab.
Nike retros aren't the most comfortable, but the OG low AJ1s are hard to beat and easy to style. Tons of colors at this point.
I'd throw a wild card pick on some AJ11 lows. Depends on your tolerance for patent leather, but I'm shocked how comfortable they are underfoot. They definitely stand out.
You might be the only person in the history of shoe lovers to call Jordan 11's comfortable.
I want those so bad. Maybe I answered my own question.

Well let me give a caveat here. The cushioning and airsole in those bad boys are as good as it gets in a basketball shoe as far as I have worn, especially for heel strikes. However, they don't breathe. At all.
And for the record, I am also the only person on the planet that likes the AJ1 Zoom models. I recently stomped around Chicago all day in these with no problems whatsoever.
They are hell on my Fred Flintstone ass feet (credit my wife for the loving description of my feet).

I just missed out on a pair of size 13s on eBay last week. The only ones I see right now on there are missing on of the lace covers
