For these drops how fast do they typically sell out? I set an alert on the last drop and dialed in 6 minutes after it opened and didn't get to buy. Is there a trick to it?

It's a random draw, usually closes after 10 minutes and winners are notified shortly after.

I think they are getting smart and realizing that they have to upgrade the materials rather than the trash leather they had been using. Good materials makes all of the difference in the world, and basically the biggest factor on which shoes I wear vs style/colorway.

Totally agree. For me, I have to like the colorway and materials now.

I am thinking about ordering some sail laces to throw on them.

Thanks, I range a bit in Nike but that's across running shoes and cleats so that may be the disparity.

Thoughts on these? These I want for myself now that I hooked up my son already. I found the same show listed for $157 on Snkrcrew website, anyone ever use them? Legit?

If memory serves, that's a company with a NYC address, but it's not actually tied to a real building. Regardless, that price is too good to be true to be legit unless they are very used. As a general rule if thumb, check the StockX sales and then give yourself about 5-10% to feel comfortable, unless it's a person-to-person sale or your're buying used. And then, keep you guard very high up.

Concerning the shoe itself, I wanted the bio hacks pretty back when they released. I think it was a popular rep at the time, too. Personally, I think it's an extremely cool shoe. It is a little more seafoam green on the toe than in that picture, so check youtube for some unboxing videos to get a better idea of the colors. If you can tolerate sneaker youtube (and it's a chore), Elliot Page does a pretty good job.
