It's probably the coolest little thing I've found in a long time.

-Smart Jam lets you slow down songs you want to play and shows the chords/tabs.
-let's you access Spotify to play along with your favorite songs
-Tone Cloud lets you access presets others have created to have that tone you want from your favorite band
-Bluetooth or aux in your noise canceling headphones and it's simply bliss

I got a kid on the way and this definitely going to make night time duty hours go by better

For $130, this thing rocks!

Finally decided to bring my Schecter to the office since I have my positive grid spark.

Worked out well. One of my patients ripped out the monitor from the nurses station and threw it across the unit in rage. I was able to bring him back to my office and played some riffs for him and he relaxed and was smiling.

Music is therapy folks!

You could always grab a hotel up there. Go to the lesson, go back to your hotel, drop the guitar off, go back to the concert. Bonus if you stay by waterway and can just walk back and forth.

I went to a Granger Smith concert in Killeen in 2015. They said we get to bring something to sign so I brought my acoustic 12 stringer. Cool experience and got to hang in his tour bus and talk for a bit.

I had some ooos and awes walking through a small crowd with my guitar because people thought I was going to play. Cool little 20 seconds of stardom lol

In Houston, you need to go to the Guitar Center location off Westheimer; that one has the largest platinum room because it is the primary Guitar Center in the area. The one off Yale has a smaller room with around 15-20 Fenders and 15ish Gibsons. I believe those are the only two guitar centers in Houston with a Platinum room.

Fuller's Guitars is a great shop to play many quality guitars, and it's not a big deal to take anything down. All the Fenders, including the Custom Shops, are out on the floor to be pulled down and played if you want to. The Gibsons and some other custom brands are behind the counter, but you can ask the guys for any of them, and they will pull them down for you.

John is my favorite employee there. He's the skinny guy in this late 50's or early 60's, and is very helpful. Sometimes I just go in there and ask him to show me what new guitars they have that are really good. He'll immediately point to a few that have that little extra "something".
