I m exactly the same way. I feel like the series premiere was on after the Simpsons on a Sunday night so I had seen the preview enough to tune in and I was crying laughing watching Gob in action. I don't think I knew who a single person on the show was outside of Jason Bateman and George Sr. before that, but I'd put it second only to Seinfeld in my favorite comedies of all time.

Hate to flip flop, but I think you're right now that I've watched some clips. I'm much more like Michael IRL so I relate to the character a little more and get a few invisible bonus points that trumps Gob.
