I m exactly the same way. I feel like the series premiere was on after the Simpsons on a Sunday night so I had seen the preview enough to tune in and I was crying laughing watching Gob in action. I don't think I knew who a single person on the show was outside of Jason Bateman and George Sr. before that, but I'd put it second only to Seinfeld in my favorite comedies of all time.

I figured Tobias would win with 80% of the vote. I cannot believe GOB did so well here. I thought he was the second weakest Bluth (Lindsey being weakest... Michael and Buster being better).

Hate to flip flop, but I think you're right now that I've watched some clips. I'm much more like Michael IRL so I relate to the character a little more and get a few invisible bonus points that trumps Gob.
