If Disney just holds off on the fate of Black Widow and it turns out the worst is over prior to release, that lone Marvel movie may end up being the only big movie for the entire month.

Honestly, Top Gun's release date is perfectly positioned to be the movie that brings America back to the theaters. It's well enough into June where stimulus, social pressures and more will be begging for people to get out and consume.

Already was going to be massive. Might now be even more so.

I just stood up, placed my hand over my heart, and pledged allegiance to this take. I now have chills, and not of the coronavirus variety.

I've collected every ticket from every movie I've seen since 1997. Though, I admit this streak/collection is probably going to have to an end at some point relatively soon...

Reach in three times (without looking) and tell us the movie and date.

Please.

Have you gone back and rewatched Mad Men and read that book after each episode?

I doubt this lasts anywhere near as long as the 2007 writers strike, but every major production looks to be shutting down and this could still have big release implications for everything current filming...

TCTTS, quickly write a stoner reboot of Smokey and the Bandit where your typical Washington state residents go on a road trip to say, South Dakota, to bring back a U-Haul truck load of toilet paper.

I seriously doubt they would have had 50% capacity this weekend for "Bloodshot" even if we weren't in a pandemic.

I can appreciate not wanting to debut your product at a time when there are no eyeballs to watch. I appreciate the altruistic statements from these companies/actors about wanting to protect people, but that initial weekend is so important for these films. Can't make any money if there are no butts to fill the seats.

What sucks about Bloodshot is the source material is completely off the charts excellent but the movie may tank due to this COVID nonsense.

The Valiant line of comics in the early 90s was very ambitious and refreshing after years of Marvel and DC dominance turning into stagnation. Image Comics formed around the same time too.

Apparently Valiant is jumpstarting its own movie universe and there are potentially some really exciting characters in it.

Now way I'll see Bloodshot in the theater but hope it does well and will be following its success.

Disney making frozen 2 available on Disney plus 3 months early this Sunday. This is a brilliant move.
