Bill Withers' "Lean On Me" played earlier and this topic popped in my head. I could listen to BW all day long but I have hated that song for 35 years.

I know it's not their signature song anymore but Big Me kept me from giving Foo Fighters a chance for at least 10 years, I hated it so much.

It's kind of a dumb song yeah. But what's funny is it was such a popular one of theirs but it's not at all representative of their sound.

Not sure that's truly their signature song, but they do play it a lot. Think Crash Into Me is their most widely known.

It was a very weird single. I remember "I'll Stick Around" from that album first (even though it was the second single apparently) but I remember the "Big Me" video...

Those are both so different from Big Me, it really is strange.

"Straight Edge," by Minor Threat. It's the one everyone knows, but it's really more of a speech than a song. I prefer their more mature sound demonstrated in Salad Days or Good Guys.

Wonderwall is one of the lamer more boring Oasis songs IMO. It's always perplexed me how it became their biggest hit. I think the rest of the What's the Story Morning Glory album and Definitely Maybe before it are better pretty much across the board.

I love Brand New, but i also love that song. It's the song that introduced me to Brand New. I will say it doesn't really sound much like any of their other stuff.

For me, it's Drive by Incubus. I don't necessarily hate the song, it's just soooo overplayed. I can't listen to it anymore.

Even the band doesn't care for this song.

I think what often happens is the hits get way overplayed so you grow tired of them.

Black Sabbath "Iron Man". Its not a bad song but just terribly overplayed to the point where I turn the station when it comes on.

So many other songs in their catalog: NIB, Symptom of the Universe, A National Acrobat, Hand of Doom, Sabbra Cadabra, etc etc that I like. These get some play on Sirius Ozzy's Boneyard but not much outside that.

They're actually a fantastic band - Damon Albarn is a genius. They have tons of great songs, but I also love Song 2 still.

I don't think it's their signature song, but I Don't Want to Miss a Thing is Aerosmith's biggest hit. That song is awful.

I didn't like it when I first heard it.

It didn't help that every dweeb with a guitar immediately started playing it at parties.
