I thought the whole #metoo aspect was actually a good representation of what can happen in real life. Its always hard to prove. Everyone has a side. Everyone has their truth and their motivations.
The victim(s) risk not getting believed and made to feel the fool. Or risk being accused of having motivations against the accused. Or wonder if they are the only one.
The accused will just want to move on and not talk about it. And if falsely accused, their reputation can be damaged far beyond the accusation.
Some will support behind closed doors, but then back down when they feel it may harm them socially/career wise.
And then you have others like Nick, who blow it off b/c they weren't aware of it, so it clearly wasn't going on.
And someone like Janet, standing up for a victim, can have just as much, if not more, to lose than the victim themselves.
So it may have been forced, but I also think it was real for Kellee and Missy. Janet was there to protect. Liz only seemed to jump in for gameplay... she seemed to be annoyed, but not offended by Dan's touching.
I also found it interesting that Janet, in talking to Dan had to spell it out for him..."that meeting, was about you"... so I guess whatever the producers said was generic enough to not throw out any victims or accused names.
