I've been watching for 20 years. I can handle their progressive casting, but if I get another lecture about how I'm not woke enough as a straight, white, male, it'll be pulled from the DVR.

That 6 minutes was bull*****

Probst always talks about how hard it is to cram in all the content into 48 minutes of airtime, yet in an episode with 2 challenges, a tribal and a trip to see Rob and Sandra, they found time for an entire woke segment. So stupid.

Of course, nobody even batted an eye when Lauren said Elaine, the white southerner with an accent, wasn't smart enough to use her advantage.

Excellent blindside last night. For the first 4-5 episodes, I'm not sure I've ever been this bored by Survivor, but last night saw 2 smart players make some moves - Janet by not taking the risk on Isle of the Idols, and Kellee for knocking out Jack and accidentally getting Jamal to play his idol.
I imagine the merge is next based on the previews, but she took out a clear front-runner with zero harm done to herself.

Was stunned that Rudy had passed away a few days ago, guy lived to be 91 if my math is correct. If you watched the first season, that guy did stuff at age 72 that most of us couldn't do in our 20s. Rudy's comedy gold starts around 2:00

That one was irritating again. I have to wonder if Kellee took advantage of that. No chance for Dean to say something stupid or for her plan to leak if they spend the whole thing talking about Mr Woke not being as woke as he woke but then realizing he is woke because realizing he wasn't woke and waking to that woke is actually more woke.

I actually really enjoyed tribal last night because it was using wokeness to disguise actual gameplay.

Kellee used woke talk to try convince Mr Woke that he was a bigot for suspecting a girls alliance (which actually exists). As a result of playing into his weakness, Mr Woke was so confused that he wasted his immunity idol on someone who admitted she wanted to vote him out.

100 percent agree, and keller probably got herself a job on TV with her speech, and she deflected everything away from herself. Being old, I have only the vaguest idea what woke is supposed to mean, but I thought keller and Janet came across as formidable intelligent players

Yeah, it was well used to deflect. This season is seeming more preachy, and the part that annoyed me was the victimization of talking about the female alliance...when they have all talked about actually doing it. No, they weren't saying "there might be an all girls alliance" because they don't think women can think for themselves, they think there might be an all girls alliance because you've talked about making one multiple times.

But it was a good diversion and it made sure that the actual plan wasn't spilled.

The last two episodes are still sitting on the DVR. Sounds like I've missed some dumb crap. Even this season's villians are pathetic - Karishma and the African American guy with man-boobs. I hope next season is better.

Because it looks like there are some bad deals being offered to see if people are dumb enough to take it. Of course, that depends on your particular situation.

An American icon show is becoming a complete joke by politics. The game is much about alignment but seems every year there is more and more of the woke stuff. I almost left over the Zeke gender confusion. This year two woke moments in one episode leave me on the second strike. One more and I'm out. Sick of all the poor this or that. Just be happy with who you are and play the game. Would have rather seen robs hit construction update than all of this nonsense.

Big Brother this past summer was just as bad being "woke" and crying racism. CBS is getting ridiculous with some of the contestants on their "reality" shows that they are becoming unbearable to watch anymore. It is a game. I guess what can you expect from Hollywood, California.... zero creativity and always have to show that they are woke.
