I let my 13 year old daughter (who loves history) watch Band of Brothers for the first time over the last few weeks. She LOVED it and that scene with Winters and Sobel at the end made her laugh so hard I had to pause it so she could calm down and herself to hear Liebgott translate for the surrendering German general. Midway through the first episode she was commenting about how terrible of a leader he was so seeing him humbled in the final minutes of the final episode was solid closure for her.tv1113 said:
