I appreciate that the Broccolis are old school and want to keep the franchise purely Bond and purely theatrical or whatever, but it really is insane at this point to not try and create a whole universe out of the next iteration, with spinoff shows/movies, etc.

It hit over 100 million viewers within 6 months and had 65 million in the first month. It demolished most HBO and Netflix titles.Gig-Em2003 said:
I can't imagine Fallout or Reacher has near the audience of HBO and Netflix's top shows. That said I'm purely going on gut and the fact I don't know a single person that's watched those shows yet HBO/Netflix frequently comes up in convos. Purely anecdotal on my part I'll admit.

No one really watches these shows or the rest of Amazon's original content (relative to HBO or Netflix) and they've really missed big on some stuff. If I'm Broccolis I'd rather not have Bond spinoffs die within Prime either. Keep it theatrical and somewhat special/limited every 3 years. What Disney has done to Marvel/Star Wars is pretty easy to want to avoid if you don't need the money. So diluted and quality is suffering as a result. I don't hate keeping Bond "limited".
