The Reagan Ranch allowed them to film there - which isn't open to public. So that seems like a good indicator of the intentions of the film. That's a solid cast. Dennis Quaid's still got it. Looking forward to this one, for his story but also the time period piece aspect of it.Cliff.Booth said:

The Rock seemed to force Disney's hand on the live-action one and got a lot of bad press when he announced that the girl who voice Moana would not be in the live-action one.

Yeah, I think he pushed for this one pretty hard. To be fair it could be fun, there's the potential for some really cool visuals.

Also, I guarantee you the movie itself is a top five box office grosser this summer.

Hell yeah. Cannot wait for this. And in IMAX too.
It's crazy to me that Moana 2 and Wicked are still scheduled to release on the same day - November 27. That said, if neither balks, combined with Gladiator II releasing just five days earlier, I don't see how this Thanksgiving doesn't break box office records.
I would say that after Barbenheimer, anything's possible, but I see way too much overlap in those target demos.
Agreed. But given the holiday, no school, etc, I could easily see families seeing both. Then there's of course all of December for both movies to perform.
