Radio Stations in Canada, Australia and New Zealand taking his music out of their libraries.

I watched about 30-40 minutes the other night and had a similar reaction of disgust with the level of detail. However, the more I think about it, I'm glad they've gone all out on it. Hopefully it wakes people up to the fact that it happens way more than you think, and way closer to home than you think. And that if you suspect anyone of doing anything to any child, you confront or report or whatever you need to do to make it stop today, right now, immediately. Probably just the dad in me talking, but I suspect the rest of the fathers out there would agree, if you found out somebody, no matter how famous they were, had done any of this to your child, you'd go break their neck yourselves and face the consequences happily.

Not that I'm aware of but possibly. I'm female and I still don't understand how a decade+ of abuse went on without folks speaking up. I don't doubt the accusations against Weinstein at all. But so many kept silent for so long. I get he was powerful but even a druggie like Courtney Love spoke out against him. I guess she wasn't credible enough for the media?
Jackson was powerful too So when the 2005 trial happened, I figured that's it...he was done.
yeah sorry, probably someone else.
i just find the "whataboutism" gross and guess i got a little triggered. it is the same crap that fox news and the left use all the time to try and invalidate legitimate discussions or valid criticism of wrongdoing. If you're aware of Oprah truly working to cover stuff up in 2005, then that is a valid discussion (similarly, the video interview of one of the acusers on Kimmel in 2004 is completely fair game IMO). but trying to minimize something happening today by asking "what about 2005" is gross.

I found the documentary boring. I labored through part 1. Haven't had any desire to watch the rest.

You did better than I did, I couldn't make it through part 1.

Being very close to people that were molested as children, it is very easy for me to see why they took so long to come forward. Confusion as to what is happening to them. Is it wrong? Will I get in trouble if I say anything? Etc. There is also shame involved. It can be very embarrassing to a child to have this happen.

I imagine a lot would be the same for someone being raped as an adult, especially if it is by someone powerful in your industry, like Harvey.

His credibility is getting shredded on Twitter.
Feldman has come out saying he can no longer support Jackson. Not because he necessarily believes the allegations but because he's fighting to get states to change their statutory limits for child predators. I kinda think he's caving to the mob that likely attacked him with his initial tweet to defend Jackson. And he's working to protect children and this puts him in an awkward position.
I haven't watched this. And I won't. He's dead. What I don't understand is why Oprah is vocal about this now? Her voice was so much more powerful in 2005, IMO. I haven't watched anything she's done since 2008.
I saw there's an expensive-to-produce Jackson broadway play that was supposed to debut this weekend that's been put on hold. At least they're not tone deaf. I really wanted to see the Cirque du Soleil Jackson show. I've heard it's the best but they may get canceled as well. The article below is just to have some opinion of the other side.

Well, that article was tone deaf as ****... The whole thing was obviously written by a big fan who is reaching for reasons not to believe. Half of it is "they didn't speak up sooner" or "they denied it before"... with absolutely no understanding of how damaging these kinds of things can be.

And she started it all out with "I'm not saying that I don't believe victims of molestation"...

Maybe her next one will start with "I am not anti-semitic, but here is how I can prove that Hitler did nothing wrong in 10 minutes or less..."

Its ad editorial masquerading as investigative journalism.

Just learned tonight Oprah interviewed his family after his death. So she's cashing in. IMO.

Never cared for MJ when I was a kid and Thriller was the rage and all of that. I found him weird. He was a soyboy decades before the term existed.

I've never had a strong opinion on all of this one way or the other because I simply had little to no interest in the topic.

But what I have stated many times, regardless of guilt or innocence is this. Any parent that allowed their child to travel with, hang out with, god forbid sleep in the same bed with, some grown man that wants to travel with, hang out with, and sleep with, your child....should be drug out in the street and shot.

That's always been the rub for me. How on earth could any parent allow this to happen? Un-F'ing-believable.

It's the same blueprint. Befriend parent to gain access to child, befriend child, turn child against parent, separate child from parent, convince child they'll get in trouble if they tell anyone what's going on, have your way with child. Sickening...

I understand what happened but that doesn't change my point in the least.

Got through all 4 hours...wow, that was hard. Watched the Oprah piece on After Neverland and it was well done.

It was so good to see those guys embrace at the very end. We know a lot more now, but it's likely the ultimate damage by MJ will never be fully known. I'm praying for those guys and all survivors and hope they can help each other heal through their journey down the path.

Finally finished this documentary. In hindsight is it really surprising to hear that a very strange, androgynous person who owned a child-like fantasy land and liked sleeping in the same bed with young boys was a pedophile? Like is it REALLY surprising?

At this point, people saying Michael Jackson was innocent sound the same as the "OJ was innocent" crowd. Ignoring incredible amounts of evidence, and they just so happen to be huge fans of him.

Michael Jackson was a monster.

I'm not sure Jackson ever molested Culkin or Feldman because they were child celebrities and he couldn't take the risk. He just stuck to the nobody kids who didn't have a lot of money or influence.

Although Culkin & Feldman did end up pretty messed up anyway.

I don't know how anyone can watch that two part documentary and conclude that either of the accusers are lying .

Not a doubt in my mind that their story is 100% true. I hope them two dudes finally find some peace after getting it off their chest,

It's a hell of a delimma, Horrific situation all around.

Jackson was wrongly acquitted at the criminal trial based on false testimony. Justice was subverted on both ends. Robson, a victim himself, prevented another victim from getting his justice. Two victims of the same perp were pitted against each other allowing the perp mastermind to go free.

The story is so crazy you couldn't make this **** up.

Absolute insanity all around.

This right here. Michael Jackson learned this behavior from someone. No doubt that he was sexually abused as a child. Keep on digging and there is a LOT more to be revealed with what happened and what they are hiding in the Jackson family.
