This is not based on the main games or the anime. The Shank Ag said:
So will we get Giovanni with his Persian? Meowth and Jesse/James? Or is this a standalone/not on the ketchum timeline since there is no Ash in the previews either?

So does this count as the first positive reviewed video game movie? I know Pokemon started as a video game, but there have been so many shows, toys and games that I'm not sure if it is really considered a video game franchise anymore.
I was going off of RT scores. None have been certified fresh.c-jags said:Bruce Almighty said:

I believe Lara Croft (new one,) Prince of Persia, Rampage, and Silent Hill have mostly positive reviews.
Not sure about RT scores but they weren't terrible.

Out of those, Rampage was the best. It was nothing more than a fun, cheesy monster movie and the people that made it were very, very aware of the fact.c-jags said:Bruce Almighty said:

I thought it was pretty good. The big thing was it was accessible for people who might not have been too familiar with the source material, which is the big problem most video game moves run into besides being complete *****
