Entire show is unrealistic at every turn. But it's bingeworthy so far. My guess is it becomes tiring soon if it keeps the same ridiculous pace.

Agree with the posters above... Ozark is good, not great. It's worth the watch if you're looking for a show. It's really not in the same ballpark as Breaking Bad.

Ruth Langmore is interestingly acted. I thought that some of her lines were painfully bad, and some were really good. I think that the writers made it tough on the actress in some cases.

Bateman and Linney are SO good. They make the show worth watching for Season 3.

I didn't hate the FBI agent as much as many of the previous posters. I agree fully with the daughter needing to take a backseat... whiny angst plot gets boring.

I think the show probably has one good season left... then I'm not sure where they'd go without screwing it up.

Great season. Wendy has gone full Walter White.

Wrapped it up yesterday, what a great series! Marty truly is so dialed in on his mission that he missed multiple opptys to release the stress with Rachel, even opioid Rachel.

Episode 3 - Has anybody ever met somebody that was actually as traumatized by their first hunting trip the way Hollywood like to depict it every time a kid goes hunting?

Finally watched Season 1 and 2 over the past month.

Was really entertaining, but towards the end it just felt like they were just coming up with way too many obstacles that would keep popping up and throwing a wrench in everything.

I did like seeing the wife start to break bad more than Marty.

Still curious to see where they go now.


Also, I think Ruth Langmore's dad just watched Sling Blade to prepare for his role, because he seemed to be doing a dead on impression of Karl.

Astute. I'm with you on Wendy's intuition thinking that the cartel was into their getaway plan. She even said to Marty "It's not a good time to leave yet" or something to that effect. So, I think she was in protect the family mode.

But it is set up for she and the cartel lady to form a bond and to eventually scheme against Marty. I think cartel lady was purposefully signaling to Wendy by telling her they were monitoring Marty's browser activity to compel her to make a smart decision. Cartel lady has concluded that Marty has lost his edge and eventually they will get behind Wendy and get rid of Marty.

So, you could see all out war between cartel and KC mob and with Marty forming alliance with KC mob (out of self preservation) and fighting Wendy and cartel!!!!

The family will split. Jonah sides with Mom. Charlotte sides with Dad. Starting to have a final 2 seasons of The Americans feel to me.

Could be a great season 3!

I don't get the vibe that Wendy will ever betray Marty that way. She may do things against his wishes from time to time but I've always sensed that for, better or or worse, they're with each other all the way.

Finally finished S2. (I'm terrible at binging shows. I need the slow drip of an ep a week) I really really liked Wendy's arc this season and can't wait to see where they take her next. One of my issues with the first season was the breakneck pace. I felt they did a better job in S2 but looking back they freaking cleaned house in the last 5 episodes or so: Buddy, FBI guy, Cade, Jacob, Mason, Rachael. The best part for me is I get to go up to Lake of the Ozarks next month with girlfriend's Missouri family and wear this beaut.
