Did Finn rummage through Han's old clothing that he found in that cardboard box lost in the smugglers compartment at the bottom of the Falcon. That being said, I like the look.

Depending on which of your characters talks to Palpatine in TROS, what are they going to call him? He's not the Emperor or "Your Highness" anymore because there's not an empire. Does he call himself Darth Sidious? How did Yoda know that was his name in ROTS? Did anyone ever say it out loud? Do I get my wish of someone calling him Sheev?
On a serious note, if Ghost Luke encounters reborn Palpatine, and Palpatine in a panic or believign it will work shoots some lightning at Ghost Luke, I really want Ghost Luke to smile and say, "You can no longer hurt me. I've become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."

Dooku calls him Sidious to Obi-Wan. No idea how Yoda learns of it, since Obi-Wan didn't believe him.

More seriously though, I think an interesting question for TROS is do they know who he is at first? If he 'reveals himself' to Kylo Ren, how long is it before Kylo Ren knows who it is he's talking to.
I assume if Force users can sense emotions, death, and basically read minds, etc, they can pretty easily "extract" someone's name. If Kylo can Force pull a map from of Rey's mind, I'm sure he or any other Force user can surmise someone's identity.

If Rey heard the "myth" of Luke Skywalker - as she references in TFA - then the downfall of "the Emperor" or "Palpatine" or "Darth Sidious" was no doubt part of that myth. Whatever name he's commonly known by, the man responsible for the fall of the Republic and rise of the Empire, even if 30 years later, would still be commonly known, I'm sure. And even if not, Luke could have easily told Rey about him in an off-screen moment on Ahch-To.

I think Muck hit on an interesting point there that we as the audience know who he is by sight and sound, but none of our main characters do. He could conceivably come to them as some kind of mentor without revealing who he is, which isn't something I had originally considered.
