Me too, it's just a perfect shot. It began with the rebels getting just absolutely destroyed on the Tantive IV, now it ends with the heroes wrecking shop on an imperial vessel.

Trailer 2 made it appear that Rey was going to dark side. Nothing like that in third trailer. One of them is misleading.

The C3PO scene in new trailer looks fishy. When he says "one last look", Rey is in background. When he says "at my friends", Rey and eveybody is in front of him.

I'm thinking that scene is either not what it seems, or it may not even be in the movie at all, just something for the trailer, like someone else said to use 3PO to talk to us.

It's definitely in the movie.

I am sure someone has seen this and commented... but does Rey's lightsaber look like a more aqua color than the Anakin one she had (that split in 2 during TLJ)?

I've heard speculation that the color might be changed for the trailer so as to hide the real color. (ie a new lightsaber)

With Kylo so influenced by Vader, I wonder if Palpatine tempts him with "A reborn Emperor needs a reborn Vader" kinda of deal. Cuz you know Kylo would kill to put on Grandpappy's helmet. Seems like his lightsaber should be lying around DS 2 somwhere unless Luke burned it.

Probably the way the trailer is cut, but I also get a "Neo at the beginning of Matrix 2" vibe from Ray - everyone who meets her has given her near-God status because of what she's done. Even Luke who blew up the Death Star never picked up 30 boulders in front of 50 people to save their lives. Her "nobody knows me" line made me think about Neo returning to Zion (the city is out 6 to 8 weeks with knee surgery) and everyone like just wanting to touch his hand.

Finally, I hope they have some kind of stock footage of "Leia horrified" because I'd really like a reaction shot of her hearing Palpatine is back.

So to sum up. Spinning is a great trick. If you meet a cute girl. Carve her some crap out of a tree even though there are no trees on your planet
If you're in an unfamiliar spaceship, just start pressing buttons. Someone messes with you mother, you execute as much of their species as possible. Stay away from power couplings. Chicks dig a robot hand. Killing a guy with 2 lightsabers is way cooler than 1 lightsaber. It's tough to work in a hostile work environment. Teachers are great until they try to kill you. Always aim for the high ground and eff sand.

"The Rise of Skywalker"... this is an even more curious title now having seen the trailer... ain't no Skywalkers anywhere. Leia sorta counts, but we all know her role will be minor.

So why the title?

My personal hope is that both Luke and Anakin Rise to finally defeat the emperor. They both need redemption for choices made as well as some writer/director choices that didn't sit well with fans.

If the emperor can somehow rise from the dead, then the Skywalkers can rise to meet him.
