I'm trying to go spoiler free, so I hesitated to read your hidden text. Thanks for sharing the info and doing so in a kindly non-specific way.
Do, or do not. There is no try.

So look. I hate to be a debbie downer, but I just don't understand the imperial supply chain. Where the hell do all these star destroyers, planet killers, flagships of the first order, juggernauts, etc. keep coming from?Sure, the resistance has about 8 people and 1 YT-1300 left, but, and correct me if I'm wrong here, the First Order was left with about 100 soldiers and a few next gen AT-ATs, thanks to the incredible "let's fly our big ship through their bigger ships" maneuver.

Which leads my to my next and probably better question. Why is anyone intimidated by the first order anymore? If anything should be obvious at this point, it's that these guys have absolutely zero idea what to do with them. They've made them abundantly clear.

By the way if the "fly our ships through their ships" strategy isn't deployed in this film, it'll be a huge disappointment. That would be my go-to strategy for that giant fleet at 1:55. With the seemingly endless supply of capital ship torpedoes, those star destroyers would be toast quick. That's the spark that'll light the real fire, IMO.

The ships come from evil corporations that build ships for money to fund big horse puppy races.

the galaxy is in disarray, First Order destroyed the republic so they're all that's left.

in TLJ, we only saw a portion of the First Order chasing a couple resistance ships... the rest were doing more important galaxy dominating stuff.

Republic\Empire have more ships than the resistance so the kamikaze stuff won't take them all out.

Not to be that guy but.... most of his "friends" are dead.

Han
Luke
Leia (well sorta)
the original chewie
the original R2D2

sorry mixing real life and SW but in my head they are kinda the same thing.

my thought on that scene was - you just met these people.

You have a point, but I'd like to think they all got to know each other pretty well in the year that has passed (in-movie) between movies. But yeah, I would have rather seen that on screen.

If JJ makes 3PO some big hero and makes me cry I'll never forgive him. 3PO is the annoying side show.

I enjoy watching this, but I call BS.
Its day light out.
He appears to be at the Vatican in Rome.
When the trailer was released, it would have been past midnight.
A true Star Wars fan would not have been able to wait until the next day to see the trailer.

Sherlock... out

Yes, I have been watching him, and enjoying his videos. I'm just in a bad mood from work today and out to call BS on anyone

Honestly, this is the joy that the movies bring me, so it's awesome to see this.

You need to look at St. Peter's square on google satellite and go back to the video to check the shadows to determine the approach of the sunlight.

Yeah I can see your point. It just caught me off guard when I saw it this morning. It kinda reminded me that I was seeing them for the last time & I've known the original characters since they arrived on the screen all those years ago.

1. It was definitely talking to the audience
2. He has a long history with Poe
3. In ESB and RotJ he and Han had "just met" in terms of screen time but were good "friends" thanks to all that time between ANH and ESB

I know your messing with me. But if I were part of 4chan, I would do it, do it flawlessly, hack Lucasfilm servers to download an illegal copy of Ep9, and then post it here with spoilers to ruin it for everyone.

Disney Stock Can Clearly Win the Streaming Wars Now

If you're a Star Wars fan, this is unquestionably a great time to be alive. With franchise owner Disney (NYSEIS) at the helm, it has the power and resources to expand the narrative to new frontiers. And it's doing exactly that, with Star Wars: The Last Jedi scheduled for release this December. That alone is enough to get excited about Disney stock.

1) This is your first Star Wars post in 14 months, and your last one was also complaining.

2) You tried your "Imperial supply chain" funny guy stuff before. You have to get new material.

"Look, I'm a supply chain guy in my professional life, so maybe I'm reading into this space wizard story a little to deeply, but I don't see how you can keep building and maintaining an armada of death if it gets pasted every time some purple haired tart points her ship at it and hits the warp speed button.

3) This is a joyous day for the lot of us. Why bother?

Couple comments:

1. On the first post in 14 months issue, explanation is primarily due to the fact that there hasn't been a lot to talk about, but also I just don't post a lot. Just watched the trailer and was annoyed but what I saw because it is just more of the same without any explanation. Though I gotta admit that the Mandalorian looks pretty badass.

2. Pretty embarrassing that I already did the supply chain bit. Had totally forgotten about that. So strike 1 for sure.

3. Why bother? Eh, you could say that about a lot of posts on texags. I thought it was amusing, but I guess I did 14 months ago, too, so JJ and Rian aren't the only ones who could be accused of recycling old material and trying to act like it's new. *hangs head in shame*
