I haven't seen all the MCU movies and absolutely loved Black Panther. The action sequence in Korea was great. For me, what really resonates was the amazing ensemble of strong female characters; they were smart and strong and crucial to the story. I suspect a lot of women will enjoy this movie as much as Wonder Woman for this reason

Does it pass the Bechdel test? Do two named female characters have a conversation that wasn't about a man?

You'd think it would. Conversations between the Queen Mother and Princess seem to always involve T'Challa or Killmonger. Do Nakia and Okoye ever talk about things that are operational in nature that don't involve T'Challa? The conversations about what to do after T'Challa "dies" always had Agent Ross play a part, I think.
I vote yes because while they were often concerned about the King or discussing him, they felt like critical members of the team. Nakia, Okoye and t'challa all went to the casino together, the women worked together to chase down Klaue, the sister operated the tech behind the scenes, etc. They all had agency.
I enjoyed it. 7/10 for me. I thought the sister stole the show. It may need to sit for a bit before I can rank it in the universe.
I really didn't care for the movie.

I get if people didn't love it, but 5/10 type ratings are pretty ridiculous IMO.
Personally, I loved it, goes near the top of the MCU films for me. The world design was incredible as was the costuming and technology, performances were solid, action sequences were a lot of fun, and it was funnier than I expected.
I thought the overall message was really well done, it didn't hide but it wasn't too in your face either. Some of the dialogue was a bit clunky and there were a few moments where the CG was noticeable, but overall I really enjoyed it.
Will be going back for another viewing sometime in the next week or two.

Hoopla was a bit much. I get the importance but it's a bit obvious that the reviews were a little slanted. A movie that has bad cgi rhinos in armor deserves a bit more criticism.
As a whole it ranks around Spider-Man: Homecoming, Antman, and Dr. Strange territory. A good movie that deserves praise for being a good self contained story in a massive universe. Cast was fine, story was mostly fine, plot had his holes, and the villain, while I empathized with him greatly, was mostly forgettable.
That being said, I'm a redneck conservative and I think that the political message was a good one. I understood Killmonger's pain and his reasoning, but revenge isn't the answer, forgiveness and moving forward is. I think they made a good point there without beating people over the head. The tweet about past vs future was spot on.
