Ok, here's the contest I mentioned earlier. Multiple choice questions are worth 10 points if you get them right. For all the characters, you're picking dead or alive. Each one you get right is worth 1 point. If you want, you can just send me your list of deads, should make it easier on me.

All picks are due March 17, 2019 by 11:59 p.m. CDT. That's 1 month before the show starts so hopefully spoilers will be minimal. If you miss the cutoff, too bad. If you feel like there's something wrong with a question, or I missed someone on the death pool or I messed up your picks, please email me. That will make things a lot simpler than going through the thread over and over. I'll post a big spreadsheet after everyone turns in picks and post the link here. Then update it every Monday during the season.

weird Ep. 3 was listed as 60 mins in previous release (I thought that was official). Now this and th other listing above indicate 1:22

This would make the season closer to 8 episodes in average length.

It would make season 8 a total length of 7:12 in 6 episodes (season 7 was 7:20 in 7 episodes for comparison)....and using an average episode length of about 55 minutes for seasons 1-6 this would be 7.85 episodes effectively.




EDIT - correction - I looked back and for whatever reason the previous episode length info came from a French TV provider listing. Not HBO. Apparently they had the info for eps 1 and 2 and 4,5,6 but the 60 mins was just a placeholder for ep 3. Now the latest release above is from HBO - although still with the "estimated" warning length that could change
