Been sitting on this for quite some time, and I'm stoked to finally be able to share the news. It's been a herculean effort on the part of our company and the producers we've teamed with that began over two years ago just to get to this point, and never in a million years would I have expected our first ever purchase to see these kinds of results. To have Ava involved is an absolute dream come true and I can't wait for you guys to see what this amazing team is cooking up. There's still a long road ahead, and nothing is ever set in stone until the cameras are actually rolling, but just know that the aim is nothing short of a truly groundbreaking series, from the works of one of the most revered sci-fi authors of the past 40 years.
I've been in LA a long time, busting my ass for years, and even though we're not quite *there* yet, today is certainly a memorable milestone. To finally see a press release like this - with this kind of pedigree attached - makes the journey all the more real, and serves as a reminder that we're well on our way to achieving what we set out to do over two years ago. Hopefully at some point in the relatively near future this becomes old hat, but for now I'm going to soak it in and then get back to work.
