Anyone else been listening to this?
Tara Grinstead, 30 year old teacher in Georgia, disappeared in 2005. Very little evidence left behind. It's done in similar style as Serial. Lots of interviews, details from people connected to the case.hurleyag said:
I have not. What is the premise?
Yes. Seemingly, completely out of the blue. Apparently it was someone who had never been on the radar.hurleyag said:
Is this the case they just made an arrest in
I listened to another one, "Someone Knows Something," about the disappearance of Adrien McNaughton in Canada. The podcast isn't as well done as Up And Vanished, but the story of how a kid can just disappear like that is crazy.Redstone said:

Some of the early episodes were a little rough, but I think he's gotten better along the way. I think he had to have some filler stuff early on because he didn't have a whole lot to go by.Quote:
I listened to this podcast as episodes were released. I thought it was interesting, but poorly organized. He focused way too much on some of the rabbit trails, just swinging a really big stick without focus.
Yeah, I think I need a recap of the suicide thing. It makes me think even more people could be involved.Quote:
disappointed when Duke and Dukes names came up and hadn't been a part of the show at all. I wonder if their names were on the list of 12 that was created by the guy that committed suicide in Tennessee
Right, but with the popularity, he quickly decided he needed to announce more episodes. And I just don't think he had the quality or quantity to fill the number of episodes he was shooting for. But more episodes = more sold ads.NoahAg said:Some of the early episodes were a little rough, but I think he's gotten better along the way. The ads were getting really bad after the 3rd or 4th episode.CDub06 said:Right, but with the popularity, he quickly decided he needed to announce more episodes. Ha! Yeah, the ads don't bother me because I understand obviously someone would want to make money off of this and I have no problem with that - it's his job and all. And its so easy to just press ->15 three or four times to get through them.gravy97 said:
It would also be great if there was so way to just skip thru commercials on a podcast.
Another great one. If you want to listen to some really ****ed up **** listen to Sword and Scale.NoahAg said:I listened to another one, "Someone Knows Something," about the disappearance of Adrien McNaughton in Canada. Thanks for these recommendations. I breezed through UAV and had been looking for something else, and agree that Sword and Scale is good - but really messed up.tylercsbn9 said:Another great one.
