Regarding the aging of those, the CGI for the Saturn V launch in Apollo 13 looks pretty bad, so in that regard maybe we can get some new NASA rocket visuals.
I know this post is old... but I still agree 100%.
That is one flaw in Apollo 13 that has bothered me ever since I saw it in the theaters. In the real launch there was a crap load of fire that came out of the engines, in the movie it was just smoke. And for some reason they chose to have the gantry block the "camera" as the rocket is launching. It was annoying as hell.
Maybe the speakers in theaters can do it now ,but one thing that is missing on launch videos on the internet, TV, and even movie theaters is that you can
feel them. If they can pull that off, it would be awesome. I never got to see a Apollo launch, but I saw a shuttle launch. That was shaking my organs. I can't imagine what Apollo must have been like.
