The real question is when did Davos learn the difference?
Yes, he will show up at Hot Pie's place for a nice bro reunion, followed by a cooking montage. I also feel this is the perfect time to catch up with Mereen, and show us the delicate peace between the slavers and their former possessions. I think a few examples of friendly interactions and business transactions would be good. Finally, a "day in the life" montage of Benjen would help us figure out what he's up to.RedAgs01 said:
Gendry will make an appearance in the next episode.

So let's assume Jamie is captured/rescued - that sets up quite a dilemma.
So you could assume that he could be used to either stall Cersei or trade for Yara/Ellaria. But
a. I don't think it would cause Cersei to yield in any way....sorry Jamie that B is Cra.
b. I don't think Dany wants to trade him at all - she needs all Lannisters dead. She cannot leave them alive as a threat.
c. I don't think you can even trust him if he were to swear allegiance to Dany.
So that then also causes an issue for Tyrion as adviser. If Dany wants Jamie dead.....Tyrion owes Jamie his life and although he wants Cersei dead and Dany to win I doubt he wants Jamie killed so callously. Like he would have been fine if he died in a battle but he doesn't want to have to deal with that directly. You saw Tyrion telling him to "flee you idiot" during the battle because he knows what an awkward position that puts him in.
Same goes for Bronn really because he has saved Tyrion's life before as well.
Tyrion is about to be in a no win situation and if he betrays Dany in any way....well his life may be...ahem...short.

In the scenes for next week, Drogon is roaring at Jon, presumably after Dany returns to Dragonstone. I'm wondering why, but more importantly, I'm wondering if anything will happen in that scene to make Dany wonder if there's more to Jon than meets the eye.

They're farther south. It'll probably all be white soon enough
I imagine Jon and/or Tyrion will be the only ones that will be able to help Danny patch up Drogon. We've seen how the dragons are with having people approach them.Trident 88 said:

Assuming in the previews where Danny is stating bend the knee that it is the survivors of the battle and Jaime is one of them.
No reason to overthink this one. Tyrian will push for him to do just that. If he does not he's dead. Pretty simple.
This last two episodes have clearly laid the ground work for Jon explaining the real threat. Next the windings appear to be getting wiped out. Adding to the case of the real threat. If the dragons react to him showing everyone his heritage, just another reason for Danny to gain his trust.
Thus the end of the season will be Danny and Jon uniting.
Oh and Ayra getting that blade will be handy if she confronts a white walker. Maybe she takes out the knight king in the end.
Wouldn't have been much of a battle then I mean, three dragons would of roasted the entire lannister army at onceTheDraw said:
Why didnt she use all 3 dragons?
You need dragon riders in battle to direct them and fire on enemies.TheDraw said:

No riders for the other 2. Didn't matter in Mereen when they destroyed the fleet, but now she has friendlies on the field of battle to worry about. Don't need 2 uncontrolled dragons torching half the Dothraki hordeTheDraw said:

You really think that's gonna stop them. Hell, the look Dany gives Missandei when Jon calls up to her is invocative of the attraction she already somewhat has for him and he obviously states he is attracted to her.dlance said:
I think the writers pointed out that a Jon/Dany romance is not going to happen.
Davos: I saw you staring at her good heart.
Jon: We don't have time for all that.

I think they try to ransom Jaime and Cersi says no dice. Dany has to execute him and Tyrion repays Jaime's early favor and releases him.
In the "Inside the Episode" piece, they actually talked about the development of the attraction between the two in the cave.dlance said:
