Nope..in the books he mentions how his Dad tried very hard to man him up..until he had the second son..and at that point he ignored sam and looked to Dickon. When he took Sam hunting he mentioned that the inheritance was rightfully Dickon's.

Sam's dad did not mention the inheritance he outright threatened Sam with a hunting "accident" if he did not take the black and leave.

So, I am Rewatching Episode 2 before I watch episode 3...

I think we have Sansa wrong... we've said repeatedly that Sansa needed to talk to Jon before undermining him publicly... however, it's clear upon rewatching this that Jon received a raven and then called a meeting of the lords before giving Sansa the chance to voice her concerns. That's on Jon for calling such a quick meeting after recieving a raven from Tyrion.

I think Jon would do well to establish a small council to run all this by before disseminating info to all his lords. Though I do like his style of handing out information for all lords to hear. It builds trust and loyalty and ownership amongst them all... if you don't speak up in those meetings that's on you.

I hope when I watch Ep3 this becomes more clear...

Anyone else feel like they set up the Jon-Dany marriage option even more this episode? Their relationship was somewhat better at the end due to the dragonglass, but they were both still of opposing mindsets of the north reuniting with the rest of Westeros. Easiest way to resolve that while Jon retains his title as king is through marriage.
