Agreed. She comes across as a smug ***** sometimes. Team Stark as always!

And my God will someone kill Littlefinger
Is it really Team Stark when we now know that Jon is a Targ?
technically, he's as much Stark as he is Targ. So i guess he's a Starkaryen [/bows head in shame]

Sorry I'm team Dany all the way....LOVE HER. F them all she WAS born to rule.

But I have always thought it will be Jon and Dany in the end - not necessarily meaning as a power couple, but a ruling peace of some sorts. Jon keeps the North, Dany has the rest perhaps. And Tyrion gets Casterly Rock.

This has always been a story of underdogs.

And all three share a lot of characteristics.

1. their mothers all died at birth
2. they may all in fact be Targaryen
3. they were all never seen fit to rule - *******, woman and youngest born, and a dwarf.
4. all stigmatized and outcast by those labels - woman, dwarf, *******

Where can I find a link to a site that dissects every frame of the trailer for plot direction?

Actually 5 main characters lived until the end in those notes. But I'm not gonna spoil who.....

And anyway plenty of things have changed since his original synopses/treatise back in the mid 90s.

Lastly....the TV show while it has hit most of the milestone big moments of the books (so far) could very well go it's own way in the end.

Besides King's Landing forces, Goldcloaks etc, I do not think Cersei has much to work with... The garrison outside House Tully (to get Blackfish) is all that I remember.

Bolton army was vanquished at BoB.
House Frey?
Minor houses?
Who is at Harrenhal?

I wonder where the three dragons slept during their journey to Westeros. Would they fly ahead and sleep on islands while the boats caught up? Maybe they traveled near the south coast of Essos at all times.
Where ever they wanted to?

Sorry.

What forces does Cersei have that she can throw down this smack?
The 2nd largest army in westeros.
I'm not so sure about that.

Dany clearly has the largest, but I think Jon's Northern/Wildling Army combined with a hardly depleted Vale force, probably contains more troops than Cersei.

Speaking of this!!!

I said that to my wife the other day and we started a conversation about "Highlander" then I figured out she had no freaking idea what I was talking about.

It was a "you had to be there" kinda thing I guess now, but I was like WHAT?! you have seen Highlander and know who Duncan MacLeod is, then she told me she thought it was a book series... for young adults. for a second I thought my wife had a secret nerdy sci-fi vibe.

There's a good chance he was in the show as well - didn't Bran see the sacrifice that created the Night's King happen at the tree at Winterfell?

I'm not so sure about that.

Dany clearly has the largest, but I think Jon's Northern/Wildling Army combined with a hardly depleted Vale force, probably contains more troops than Cersei.

According to Wiki - and these numbers are based on canon or semi-canon sources:

The Reach - 80K-100K and a large fleet
Dany - 80K-100K most likely and a huge fleet currently
Westerlands - 50K plus a decent sized fleet
Dorne - 50K
The North - 45K but hard to assemble them all
The Riverlands - 45K
The Vale - 40-45K and a decent sized fleet
Stormlands - 20-30K
Iron Islands - 20K
Crownlands - 10-15K plus the royal fleet (unknown size being rebuilt)
Dragonstone - 1K

So yeah if you take the Westerlands and the Crownlands then yes the Lannisters are 3rd biggest and Dorne is 4th.

But if the Vale and the North are together at full strength they might be the largest or at least comparable to the Reach and Dany's. But is the North really all together anyway they are pretty fractured currently.

Don't forget that the North just lost a big number in the Bolton Civil War.

She has very little to work with. Lannisters and the their bannermen have taken huge losses from years of war. Highgarden was providing the muscle and they are now allied with Dorne/Dany. Tarly will (my opinion) remain loyal to HIghgarden. The Frey's will be in complete disarray with Walder dead.

In fact, it's playing out like such an epic ass kicking on the way that I could see crazy Cercei take a page out of the Mad King's playbook and set the whole city up to burn with wildfire. Thus history repeats, Jamie has to kill Cercei and saves Kings Landing again, this time by killing his sister.

well yes....maybe.

I reread that one and the 30K was from Aegon's conquest.

Renly claimed 100K, others think it wa maybe 80K ish with another 10K at Highgarden under the Tyrells..

Either way it does look like 80-100K

I'll fix it.

Parsed:

Dany: Reach (attacked by Crow's Eye) 60% + Dany 100% + Dorne 100% = ~200K + 3 Dragons
Cersei: Westerlands 100% + Crownlands 100% + Stormlands 50% (unkown b/c Stannis took some and died) = ~75K
John: North 60% + Riverlands 75% + Vale = ~95K
Euron: Iron Fleet = ~20K + Looking to join up with someone, but Asha/Theon got to Dany first; so probably to join up with Cersei?
Unknown: Dragonstone (about to be crushed by Dany anyways) ~1K
