+1 on Fassbender. Looks the part of Bond, and is English-ish (Irish-German actually)

Brosnan is no giant either. Cruise is short as well and camera angles can make them seem like the tallest guy in the scene. No problem with Hardy's height IMHO

Yeah Brosnan was well known and tied to Bond for years whenever names came up.

And Craig was known for a lot more than that. I knew who he was and I've never seen Layer Cake. I'd seen him in Lara craft, Munich, and road to perdition, among others.

Roger Moore like Brosnan was rumored for years since Connery started taking about not doing them anymore. Like Brosnan he also was tied up in tv shows each time it seemed. In fact lazenby might have gotten the one role only because Moore was not available. He therefore played him when he was 45 to 58 years old.

I'd like to see Tom Hopper, from Black Sails, as Bond.

He's tall enough, young enough and British enough.

Craig is my favorite by a wide margin even though I was extremely disappointed with Spectre.

Would love to see Elba even if it was just for one film. Precedent is there so who cares if it's just one film. You could simply make it a one off mission.

Casting Bond as a woman is ridiculous. The logical thing to do here is introduce a "008" female and then spin her off into her own films. You could then cross pollinate the 007 and 008 franchises as desired. It would be their own mini MCU.

Brosnan is 6'2.

I think that would still be about as successful as a Fast and Furious movie only featuring Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster.

I agree; seems like the Bond movies are preparing for a "youth movement". They already have a younger "Q" and MoneyPenny. Judy Dench if not replaced would look like a grandma next to Tom Hiddleston.

I think Jude Law could do this role.

Henry Cavill in about 10-15 years?
