It feels like I watched it forever ago and it still is over a week before it is released.

I still plan on being there Thursday at 730 to watch it again.

I was just verifying. I mean, the only thing that kinda bugged me was IM at the end. I get he's upset about his parents, but Bucky killed them YEARS ago while being mind controlled, so it wasn't him, and his only reaction is to want to kill him?

Clearly Tony was not over his parents death. He created those crazy dream glasses just to talk about his parents. He already hates Winter Soldier and has been fighting his friends for a week or so. Tensions are high and you just see a video of your parents being murdered and the guy is right there in front of you mind control or not. From our perspective I get your point, but I can see IM's if I try to put myself in his shoes.

They needed to create something bigger than some silly law so they stopped pulling punches. And since they didn't want to have someone kill someone from the other team, this is what they came up with.

I guess it makes sense, still seems a little flimsy, but I'll allow it.

Just saw it. Marvel knocked it out of the park again!! A bit disappointed with no GOTG end credits scene but oh well. The airport fight was nails and Spider-Man was awesome.

Were there multiple credit scenes in your viewing?

We only saw the Winter Soldier one.

We watched in Germany and there was a Spider-Man one also. it will probably be on YouTube soon

I am not sure how everyone else felt about Black Panter, but I was a little "meh" about his movie and character. After Civil War, I am all in. Maybe more excited about it than Doctor Strange, Thor 3, or GotG 2.

I was pumped when I heard that Ryan Coogler was directing/co-writing. After Civil War, hype is through the roof!

Haven't mentioned it yet, but I loved Hawkeye filling in the Daredevil (Iron Fist technically right?) role from the comics with his traitor speech to Stark.

Yea, Matt Murdock was in prison and Iron Fist was DD.

If you are referring to the famous "you move" speech, Sharon Carter gives it.

I even mentally noted that during that scene. Duh

Would have been better delivered by Cap a la the original. Using it as a turning point was more powerful, IMO

I liked how they used it. They would have had to made Spidey a bigger character and bring him in earlier on for it to work like it did in the comics. I'm sure they could have made it work that way too, but that changes the movie significantly.

I get it. They would have needed a 4 hour movie for it to work that way

Could have done a Civil War Trilogy. One from IM perspective, one from Cap, & one from Spidey as he switches side. Film them at the same time. Release one in May, one in Aug, & one in Nov. keep the perspectives wildly different when both Cap looks bad in the IM, IM looks bad in the Cap, then bring it all together to show the gray area in the Spidey one.

Been reading the quote page on IMDB. Looks like the quotes from Lang aren't going to disappoint.

Add that to Paul Rudd's delivery, and it's even better in the movie.

just got out. thumbs up. story wasn't as solid as Winter Soldier, but overall really liked it.

the humor was good but did feel a bit crammed in the airport fight, but I get it.

spiderman....stop everything and get this kid a movie now. stole the show. more Scott Lang would be good too. I did feel like it could've been more of Captain America's movie....bit too many references to the avengers. that and the humor on the big fight made it feel more like avengers 2.5 for me.

I'm also bummed no one died. there were no permanent repercussions, almost felt like a stop gap between movies. I also thought the effects werent as well done as TWS, and the editing was a bit choppy in the fight scenes in the beginning

that being said...home run. this is what batman vs superman wanted to be. and it amazes me how well they Balance all the cahatcters. well done

I'm at a loss for words. Incredible. Marvel can seriously do no wrong.
