Good movie! Fully enjoyable with both the right amount of light heartedness, and depth of emotions for a summer blockbuster.
Some random thoughts:
- It's awesome to finally see a New Yorker spiderman. Spiderman definitely was forced, but was so well pulled off.
- Same goes for Black Panther to me (again felt forced but well done)
- This had perhaps the best side-kick of amy comic book movie, and it did so with two! Falcon was awesome throughout and was implemented perfectly as a side-kick, and then you get Bucky as another great side-kick with an emotional connection.
- Couldn't Vision just have finished the airport fight in a minute?
- Couldn't the fight also have ended with Cap saying "guys chill, I'm going to fight this bad guy in a remote part of Siberia with no one around before he unleashes a bunch more bad guys"?
- Glad Don Cheadle is gonna be around for more MCU
- which has me thinking: I get they are on opposite sides now, but could we get a Hawkeye and War Machine movie please?
- Paul Rudd is the man. Hopefully Ant Man and Starlord will get to have an extended scene in the future.
