Not a fan of the Alpha 5 design.

That's horrid.

That reminds me a lot of this.

Kinda tough to make Alpha actually cool, but that's definitely a swing and a miss.

And I feel like I just saw the majority of the movie.

Damn, beaten by seconds.

Thoughts:
- A bit disappointed by the size of the Zords. They made them look huge in the posters.
- Loving Cranston as Zordon.
- Rita - could go either way. Looks a bit on the campy side, but it is Power Rangers.

Will be seeing it opening weekend.

Even though they probably gave away the basic beats of the story, I'm still excited to see a badass version of Power Rangers on the big screen. The only complaint I have is the design of Alpha 5, but that complaint is squashed as soon as Bill Hader starts talking.

So this is the origin story of Bama's O-Line or something? I'll leave now.

This may be the perfect movie for my generation. Grew up obsessed with Power Rangers. I remember the exact moment the white ranger was revealed. My 6 year old mind was blown.

Somehow it didn't dawn on me while watching thay they used Kanye's "Power" as a wink to the title.

Still don't love the music choice.

Let's be honest... the show was spare. There is no hope for this movie.

I'll see it. Looks fun.

Not to mention the theme song was literally metal.

This show, along with Ghostbusters and TMNT were the bulk of my early childhood.

Despite how bad the CGI looks, and despite how campy parts look, I will be seeing this on opening weekend.

By the way, my guess as to why it's called Sabans power rangers is because of the 20 min fan made movie from last year. Apparently Saban (not Nick) hated the "dark and gritty" route it portrayed. He said that he had a movie in the works and that power rangers was and always will be catered to young people and kids.

So don't go in thinking this won't be campy and generic in plot. It absolutely will be. I'm going to see it to see the best portrayal in modern cinema.. not for a riveting story.

Maybe one day in the future we will get a Netflix show in the spirit of Daredevil.

So I read there will be 2 cameos in this movie...

Speaking of Power Rangers, Twitch.tv is currently running a Power Rangers marathon and are showing all 800+ episodes.

Read somewhere there will be a post credits scene....

So how does this tie-in to the TV show & other movies? I watched the original season(s) as a kid and recently turned a few on on Netflix for my daughter.
