The toys for the power rangers were incredible. The show was a little past my time, but a friend of mine had all of the toys (like I had all of the ninja turtles) and making the giant robot thing was pretty cool.

I absolutely love this new take. Serious but not too gritty. Marvel-esque. Great costumes. Solid actors. Fantastic effects.

And we haven't even seen the zords or Cranston.

Just saw this post when the thread got bumped and was thinking...

I feel like her armor looking so much like Ranger armor will play into a Green Ranger storyline eventually.

Also I'm thinking that the eventual Green Ranger might be female as a twist.

The more I think about it, the more genius I think a Power Ranger movie series is because they can rotate actors through with no issues. Kill them off, graduate them, expand the team, bring them back later. It works as well (or better) for movies as it did for the show.

I think that poster looks pretty bad. Look at the ratio between the power ranger in the cockpit and the trees below. It just seems off.
