Had a big meeting this morning at Chateau Marmont with one of our writers (the journalist doing our Bitcoin project, for anyone keeping track), and Forest Whitaker was at the table next to ours for a good hour and a half. As with most celebrities, he looked smaller in real life.

Btw, this is the project we've discussed putting Margot Robbie in as one of the three leads. Today was all about prep work for the pitch, of which we have seven companies lined up (as of now) to hear next week, each of whom are interested, the first one being DiCaprio's company (which I mentioned a while back). So we should hopefully know by the end of next week if any of them are going to bite... maybe in time for a potential celebration at Comic-Con.

And yes, I'll be heading down to San Diego next week for three days/two nights of meetings and parties. I probably won't be attending any panels, and I doubt we'll top the Sundance story, but as always, I'll try my best, and will keep you guys updated of any shenanigans...

I think the more relevant question is if the trailer is dropping this week or not.

Ha. He was meeting with someone who kept showing him work-related videos on a laptop. I was seated facing Forest, and behind him was this giant mirror on the wall and I kept trying to see in the reflection what was playing, hoping it was Star Wars related, but could never get a good enough look.

That's cool you're going to Comic Con... For you, I can see that being both a ton of fun and also your worst nightmare.

Ha, that's actually EXACTLY how I feel about it. Excited for the parties and meetings, but absolutely dreading the traffic to get there, the crowds, the heat, etc.

Even if I did, I wouldn't say for fear of getting yelled at for posting "spoilers."
