Sucks that it was only one episode last night but man it was great. So many awesome things:

-andy's passive aggressive lines
-bens drunk voicemails
-Ron's views on religion/churches
-all of the cameos

Yeah that one is right up there with Leslie and Ron's big episode; I may have enjoyed it more actually. Might watch it again today and post some quotes.

I thought the nanny and their kids were funny too. Nice finally seeing that side of their family.

No, its definitely done. The writers and actors are ready to wrap it up, not just NBC.

New episodes, I'm partway into the first one, my guess is Ben gets April hired as the consultant, and she turns it down, leaving the accountants yet against disappointed by Ben.

Ben who? Ben Wyatt? He's dead to me.

No Tom Haverford? What's the deal?

No Tommy Timberlake was disappointing, but I don't know which story he would have fit into. Another couple of solid episodes, though. There are only 4 left, so they are going to have to wrap up this campaign pretty quickly.

As much as I love this show, I hate them forcing all of the characters into the final season.

I think I must be the only one that feels that way.

Just give me a heavy dose of the regulars and don't force others into the final episodes.

So far the only ones that felt forced were Brett and Harris but they are awesome so I didnt care.

I can't think of anyone else who has been forced into an episode. I think its the secondary characters that make this show so great.

Missing the mark so far

Agreed, but I thought the Paunch Burger commercial was a Carl's Jr. commercial before they mentioned it. That frightens me.

Episode 2 definitely better

Liked the first episode. Loved the second episode.

Ron Swanson is just killing it every episode this season.

I guess I'm the negative Nancy on this season... It has been downright terrible.

It's a variety hour each Tuesday, featuring the cast of Parks and Rec.

But as I said early on, last season's finale was so perfect, the show ended for me then. Anything this season is just gravy. But overall it has been rough. Lazy, rushed, and all over the place.

I loved the Johnny Karate episode but I love Macklin. I was laughing the whole episode. Especially during the Boring Buzzer.

- No Tom in the Johnny Karate episode
- No mention of Ben running for Congress in either episode, you'd think it would've come up when he was considering appointing himself mayor.

My thoughts exactly. It was almost like they were out of order, but other events were in sync with the timeline. It was very weird that it didn't come up "Wait a minute, I can't be mayor, I'm running for congress!!!!"

Other than that I really liked both episodes. I am with TCTTS, this is a really strong final season.

I would have rather just had a regular episode, but I liked Johnny Karate as well. The commercials made it worth it.

The idea that they worked in government and have had the same mayor for 30+ years is funny. To think the whole time it was Bill Murray is just fantastic.
