I understand why shows and movies want the whole multicultural thing, but I really hate when they change how comic book characters look. There is so much source material out there and they just feel the need to change stuff for no good reason

To be fair, Starfire is from a planet that is basically a sex planet where it's normal for orgies and people walk around nude.

So her looking like a hooker isn't surprising. However, her looking like a cheap detroit hooker is hilariously terrible. That is honestly the worst adaptation I've ever seen.

That'd be a good way to differentiate from Marvel, too. The tone difference didn't work (or at least they couldn't pull it off), so perhaps this is how DC can make fun movies that still feel unique comic book films.

It's definitely the sort of story Spielberg could do well. Checks a lot of his boxes. And he LOVES WWII planes.

World War II flying comic book movie....I loved The Rocketeer. It has one of the greatest nostalgic sounding film scores I've ever heard (along with Who Framed Roger Rabbit) and just has the right feel for the era. Hopefully Spielberg (or whoever directs while he produces) can capture that feeling

I am vaguely familiar with the Blackhawk character, but wondering if Stevie will ever actually get to this. And I do recall him saying something about never again making a movie with comic book Nazis after having made Schindler's List.

I choose to believe this Blackhawk movie will actually be a comic book hero movie meets the Mighty Ducks meets Pro Stars where it turns out that Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews fight crime when they aren't on the ice.
