Just got back from the Infinity Vision showing. I really thought I would be looking at my watch waiting on the extra footage towards the end but I was engaged throughout the entire film. I've seen this movie 20+ times but it hits different seeing it on the big screen. For those going, there is an extra scene added at the end of the movie. Then the credits roll. There are 3 scenes. A small one at the very end. Im ready for December!
we're going today. So if I'm understanding correctly, ALL the extra stuff for IMAX and Infinity vision are all at the end of the film?

Asking for my bladder….

Yes. There are 4 in total, with the last at the conclusion of the credits

If you are going just for the scenes, stay home and watch the new rockstars coverage. But if you want to experience it in theaters again and you got time to kill go see it

The theater experience alone was worth to see again

Still a blast in the theater. Massive cheers at all the right moments, but especially Spider-Man swinging through the portal.

A young kid near me yelled out "Spider-Man"! It's cool that young kids get to experience this for the first time.

Also that same kid yelled over to his mom "What just happened?!" right after Loki walked through the doorway and the entire theater freaked out.

Man that was fun!

First time for me and my boys to see this film in theaters and I'd only seen it once.

I know what we experienced was NOTHING compared to yall seeing it in theaters when it was new, but man it was still awesome to get some clapping and cheering at certain parts.

What surprised me was certain scenes still hitting me in the feels. In no particular order: black widows death, avengers assemble, I am iron man were the main ones but there's plenty of little moments too…but even though I'd only seen this once I still knew generally what was coming…

For the new scenes….

Loki was an interesting surprise to add in to the ending. Didn't expect that.

Banner getting abducted by Doom is also interesting. You hear Hulk come out before he gets taken.

The TVA was the most interesting tidbit. My boys did some quick reading afterwards and there's significance to the different universes that were in that scene. One of the earths getting destroyed was from the universe for fan4stic….one of the ones shooting missles at the other earth was the og x-men universe (the other shooting missles we don't think is from anything we know)….another one getting destroyed was 2003 hulk….and I think the last was from the what if universe with Peggy carter

The third scene means they are borrowing heavily from the more recent Secret Wars graphic novel which is exciting because it means that there are some really big plot swings coming for a number of key characters.

How? I'm assuming he yelled something like, "Oh this is where Loki shows up!"

Hope you dumped your left over popcorn on his head.

Rumor is that Doomsday will have 3 extra mins of runtime on Dolby/Imax/Infinity Vision screenings. Between this and Endgame Encore, I am not a fan of having DLC/microtransactions to get the whole movie.

Good news it will all be on YouTube as soon as you walk out of your normal screening as well.

Yeah, **** Disney if this is their new gameplan. I'll watch it on a regular non-Infinity Vision screen (such b.s. to begin with) and then watch any extra footage later online.

Finally, the whole family can get together and watch Spiderman 4. So many kids who were born in the last few months never got to experience it in the theater.

Watched Encore in imax yesterday. Really enjoyed seeing it again especially the battle scene.

The extra content was interesting. Probably not worth seeing again if that's the main reason.

I already got Doomsday tickets but not at an infinity vision. I chose regular digital with recliners instead. If it's worth going again I might go back to imax once the Dune lockout ends. But i dont like different formats getting different versions.

The Encore cut of Endgame will be on Disney+ in either October or November, so you'll at least be able to see the extra footage that way, in 4K, before Doomsday.

actually if you really think about this it's even more of a crap move….

They put up some Inifity Vision tickets for sale, what…about 1.5 months ago? Those sold out.

IMAX? THERES NO IMAX FOR 3 WEEKS THANKS TO DUNE AND MARVEL BEING IDIOTS AND NOT MOVING UP THE RELEASE DATE A WEEK.

So….effectively you have an extremely limited number of theaters remaining for these extra minutes. They knew what they were doing. Just trying to push this infinity vision stuff when no one will be going to an imax theater for this until early January.

That pisses me off.

I like how they have to explain Iron Man in that release. For the most part, only comic book aficionados (nerds) knew much about the Avengers at the time.

RDJ looks like he's an extra in an episode of Three's Company at the Regal Beagle in that photo.

For sure. At the time, I was aware there was a comic book character named Iron Man, but that was the extent of my knowledge. Couldn't have told you if he was good or bad, man or robot.

Iron Man was my favorite comic as a kid, and Avengers was second.

I was stoked when the movie came out in 2008. It was a dream come true and so well done and RDJ was perfect as Stark, especially considering his personal history.

I had no idea who Iron Man was and had no interest in seeing the movie. I expected it to me more F4 crap. Only b/c of word of mouth did I go see it and was blown away.
