Well I think I speak for everyone in summarizing the last 3 pages of this thread:

The Left is the best political party around
Elon Musk once killed a man just for snoring too loud
Kraven the Hunter is going to blow past Black Panther at the box office within a month.

Let's get back to taking Marvel now.

A quick, 11-minute video with a great theory that almost makes too much sense...

Can you just tell us what it is?

Basically just conjecture that they'll bring him back as Cap and follow his journey after he went back and got his dance with Peggy. Since we don't know what happened (is he in the same universe like 616 or a different one when he got old and then showed up at the Avengers compound) then Doomsday could work on answering that.

Basically none of that is confirmed so it's just a hypothesis.

Eric Voss really got on my nerves with the acolyte and I haven't really watched him since but his videos on stuff like this are usually really dang good and interesting so I'd say it's worth the 11 minutes

Not from Sam's but yeah something equally random

It's not a quickly/easily-explainable theory. Decay got a lot of it, but there's a whole other part related to Reed Richards and the multiverse. It would just connect a lot of things in a really neat/tidy way. Just watch the video on 1.25x or 1.5x speed and you can knock it out in like eight minutes.

Can we get a big time Hollywood insider to explain the difference between a "trailer" and a "special look"
TCTTS
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
I'm not "big time" but... a proper "trailer" is made specifically for theatrical distribution, must be registered with the MPAA, and is usually around 2m 30s in length. While a "special look" or similar requires no such registration, is often shorter in length (though longer than a standard, 30-second TV spot), is made specifically for TV or the internet, and often either marks some kind of special occasion or releases during a sporting event, awards show, etc. This is purely a guess, but maybe this one debuted during the Army/Navy game today?

Happened to see this earlier on YouTube. It's essentially the same footage, with some prior film flashbacks, and cuts the footage in a way that likely gives away the order of the first 2/3 of the movie (in case you hadn't already connected the pieces from the other trailers).

Still……. I really hope this movie is good. The pieces look good, just gotta put it together.

Is this the first trailer to mention adamantium? In the first 30-50 seconds, Harrison Ford says "Adamantium is tearing us apart."

Would make sense. It's the strongest substance in the universe. It can tear apart anything.

Saying 'Yes' to Nomad - Hayley Atwell will return for Avengers: Doomsday alongside her fellow Marvel heroes Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr., though the latter will be playing Doctor Doom this time around. While there's no confirmation on Evans' role, I'm told that he'll be back as Nomad, which is simply an alternate identity that Steve Rogers adopts after he becomes disillusioned with the U.S. government and abandons the Captain America costume and title. Nomad wears a dark blue and yellow uniform without any patriotic markings on it, as he considers himself a man without a country. It's unclear whether Nomad's true identity will be revealed to be Steve Rogers, as expected, or whether Evans will be playing other Nomads such as Edward Ferbel or Jack Monroe in this alternate timeline. Personally, I thought it would've been kinda cool if Evans came back as Iron Man, but I have no idea if that even makes sense in this corner of the MCU, as I can't make heads or tails of the official timeline and all that jazz. Atwell is expected to reprise her role as Agent Carter in Avengers: Doomsday, which is due to blow up theaters on May 1, 2026. Evans has three movies on the horizon - Ethan Coen's Honey Don't!, Celine Song's Materialists, and Romain Gavras' Sacrifice, but I'm really only looking forward to Materialists. As for Atwell, she'll soon be seen alongside Tom Cruise once again in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, which hits theaters in May.

Yeah that kinda sounds like Infinity War Cap. "Cap without a country" has been done. The people expect it but Hydra Cap is at least a new angle for the MCU.

I feel like this is a really big gamble. The two characters with the best storylines in the most successful times of the MCU (Iron Man and Cap) are getting rebooted.

Definitely feels like they're just trying to use their star power to get asses in the seats. RDJ as Doom is at least interesting. Is Scar-Jo going to come back as Black Widow's identical cousin Grey Tarantula?

This is why I loved the theory in the New Rockstars video I linked to earlier. Which is, basically, that when Rogers goes back in time to be with Peggy at the end of Endgame, he eventually can't help but continue being Cap in that timeline/universe as well, which ultimately leads to the futuristic, almost-utopia-esque 1960s of the upcoming Fantastic Four movie. Basically, Cap not disappearing from the '40s to the '00s, and instead fighting on behalf of America in that timeline from the '40s on, leads to a super-prosperous, futuristic '60s. And then, at some point when he's old, jumps over from that timeline - with the help of his friend Reed Richards - back to his original timeline, at the end of Endgame, to give Sam the shield.

Which doesn't step on Sam's toes as Captain America, doesn't lead to rehash of Infinity War via Nomad, and obviously isn't Hydra Cap either.

It's the perfect little sweet spot that also serves to help add connective tissue to the Fantastic Four.

He doesn't need Reed's help. He can just keep the Time Stone until he gets ready to go see Sam for the last time.
