As someone that loved the 90s series when I was a kid, it has not aged well. It sounds like an episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway where the challenge is to do a skit about superheroes in the style of a Shakespeare play.

Yeah, it seems to me that they tried to keep as many things right in line with the original series as they could. Animation styles, writing, acting, etc. Which definitely makes it feel dated, but also activates a lot of nostalgia.

This comes out before Thunderbolts, though, and we know Bucky has at least a small role in that. So I don't know what the creative reason is behind the decision.

I would hope it's more than a small role, especially if he's not even in CA4.

Of which movie?

Because we've known about the Brave New World debacle for a while now. To the point where they moved the release date back an entire year and are in the process of reshooting a huge chunk of it.

At least they caught themselves this time and are taking significant steps to do something about it. That said, yeah, it doesn't instill much confidence either way.

Oof. Hopefully it's bunk. I could have swore they're either still doing reshoots or were about to start. Either way, I'd be shocked if they're already done and edited into a new cut, especially with the movie still over 10 months away.

I actually don't agree. F&WS was the first time either wasn't just a sidekick. I didn't really want Bucky to just remain Cap's sidekick but with a healthier attitude or something.

I'm not really sold yet on their version of the Thunderbolts, but having Bucky at the front of it is pretty cool, and I'd much rather have that than have him tag along with New Cap without a great story reason.

That said… I think you do need to pair New Cap with someone more compelling than "guy who repairs his wings" and Sharon Carter. That's dog**** compared to Black Widow and Nick Fury.

I did some looking after the mention of Bucky not being in cap. Don't get your hopes up for Bucky being front or even a top 3 character in Thunderbolts.

‘SPIDER-MAN 4’ is looking to begin filming in September or October.

Justin Lin was one of the names in the mix to direct the film.
