I think the TVA is there solely for Deadpool to **** on the whole idea of multiverses, and how much it's destroyed the MCU.
Again, make good stories and it doesn't matter whether there is a multiverse or not. It's not the multiverse concept that has been hurting Marvel. It's a combination of mistakes by Marvel and Disney, the pandemic, the strikes etc. I want Marvel to make great stories again. They have throughout this but it has been much more hit and miss adn there is just too much content. Loki seasons 1 and 2 were very good in my opinion. Echo started out great but may have fallen flat, though it wasn't bad per say. The Marvels suffered from rewriting and reediting issues and was a mess. Secret Invasion should have probably been trashed. It wasn't time to do it and it needed to be a movie much more in line with the comic. Making the Skrulls good guys sort of ruined that opportunity but it could have been a rogue group of Skrulls, but go all in and have some shocking surprises like the comics did. Or skip it all together for continuity. Going back a bit, The Eternals was, well, are we even acknowledging it happened anymore? Ant-Man 3 was actually not near as bad as many have said. It was pretty much on par with the other Ant-Man movies and I think suffered from people expecting too much from it. Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness was not put together very well and shopuld have explained better why Wanda would do all of that after the story arc she went through in Wanda Vision. The Dark hold has a power and infiltrated her mind. That needed to be hammered home. Or go a different direction where there is a different villain or where Wanda is being manipulated by that villain. This was another pandemic issue as Strange was supposed to appear in Wanda Vision and it had to be cut. It could have set the stage better for Dr. Strange 3. But throughout this there were gems. No Way Home has it's issues b/c of the pandemic but it was great. GOTG 3 was fantastic. The MCU is still alive. It just needs to right the ship after a crazy 4 years since End Game where, in a way, the movie industry experienced a strange period of time similar to what the world in the MCU experienced after the Snap and after End Game its self.
Tell good stories. Look no further than Godzilla Minus 1. They told a great story. It also happens to have a Kaiju in it. That is what makes it so impressive. And the budget was a lot lower than a Marvel movie and yet b/c they took the time, the whole thing was seamless and effects were amazing. Not a mess crammed into Disney+ where the special effects teams didn't have the time or coordination to actually finish the product and the story was hashed together forcibly and came out a mess. G-1 was beautifully put together and shows again that fantastical situations can have great and compelling stories. Marvel was doing this regularly.
What I love about Dead Pool is he basically says what we the fans are thinking. The meta jokes and 4th wall breaks give us a voice in the movie, and if Disney allows it, and per this trailer at least, they seem to have, Reynolds can have a heyday ripping on all the recent Marvel/Disney missteps and the fans will not only love it, it will bring a lot back in b/c the issues actually have been acknowledged. Marvel tried some with She Hulk at the end but that wasn't Ryan Reynolds. Let the master do his thing and this could be great. He seems to get how to do this right. We shall see.
