I wouldn't be at all surprised if that's essentially what happens. I've since seen rumors that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are coming back as well, along with even more OG X-Men cast members. There are even rumors they're bringing back members of the OG Final Four (the Jessica Alba crew). Basically, it's sounding like this could be the "legacy sequel" swan song for that entire Fox/Marvel era.

OG fantastic four means Chris Evans, right?

Might be fun to have him reprise his role as the human torch only for everyone to keep confusing him for Captain America.

Deadpool :"Cap?! Hey Wolverine, that's America's Ass"

Johnny:"Well thank you, but the name's Johnny" *Stereotypical Chris Evans flashing grin.*

This is the property to do it in, but bringing back everyone who ever played a Marvel or DC character is getting pretty old at this point. Nobody is actually clamoring for any of these cameos, but I guess since we got Patrick Stewart again in Doctor Strange 2, and we got Black Bolt, then everyone gets a farewell tour. Nevermind that it'd be Stewart's 4th farewell to the character!

would it be disingenuous to his character if Deadpool killed him while he was taking a dump? Cause don't tell me that wouldn't be memorable….

Add Black Panther to the list of heroes getting their own game. Being made by a new studio formed by some of the guys who made the Mordor games. Hopefully this is more inline with the Guardians of the Galaxy game (which is really good if you haven't played it) and less like the Avengers one.

I had to Google the comic run, but I would love to see the adaptation of the storyline where Wolverine, in some kind of berserking state, believes he kills Tony Stark (with other heroes watching). They all quickly find out the suit was being remotely operated.

That Wolverine outfit looks amazing and ridiculous at the same time. I never thought that yellow suit would transfer well to movies, and here they are proving me wrong. Curious what the headpiece looks like.

Believe Ghost Rider went back to Marvel already, so definitely doable if they can get Cage to sign on

Anyone else feel like this picture is intentional and they will discuss the reaction in the actual movie. Maybe I'm being too meta lol

um….given Cage's choices of films he's done over the last several years I'd assume he'd say yes to this

You need to zoom in. But one is on the far right. The other is roughly in the middle next to the guy in the red Deadpool outfit roughly under the u and the r of the logo.

This is a summary of the video below. These are all different ideas that he's theorized could be coming (YEARS FROM NOW) based on what we've seen from Marvel and these are ranked in order of what he feels is most likely to least likely...and it could be in the form of a movie, movie series, or Disney + series.

The Uncanny Avengers:
comic book cast of -> Havoc, Captain America, Sam Wilson, Thor, Rogue, Scarlet Witch, Wolverine, Quicksilver, Sabertooth, Psychloche, Deadpool

Story involves groups of Avengers and Mutants coming together after another Civil War type deal between Mutants and Avengers. Could also include Bucky, White Vision, and Wolverine.

The Young Avengers:
comic book cast of -> Wicken & Speed (the WandaVision kids), Kate Bishop, America Chavez, Kid Loki, Cassi Lang, Patriot (Elija Bradley, son of the black super soldier from Falcon/Winter Soldier)

In the comic book these characters are originally brought together by Vision. Could also switch some of these out for Ms. Marvel, Iron Heart, Scar (Hulks son), Axel & Love (from Love & Thunder), and maybe even Morgan Stark.

The Dark Avengers:
comic book cast of -> hard to tell based on his video...

This takes place in the comics after the events of Secret Invasion and SHILED is reformed into something called HAMMER. It's led in the comics by Norman Osborn so not sure how that'd workout. It's a combination of the Thunderbolts and other Avengers as well. In one aspect of the story bad guys dawn the good guys persona like Moonstone pretends to be Ms. Marvel, Venom is Spiderman, Bullseye is Hawkeye as examples. And the Dark Avengers while it doesn't have to appear exactly like it did in the comics could be getting setup by Secret Invasion and Thunderbolts.

The New Avengers:
comic book cast of -> Captain America, Bucky, Luke Cage, Spider Man, Spider Woman, Echo, Wolverine

Possible prequel (original team)....could see a version of this with the Avengers that side with Captain America and get a prequel movie for events that took place between Civil War and Infinity War because it's a two year period that's mostly empty with what took place except for Black Widow.

The Secret Avengers:
comic book cast of -> War Machine, Valkayrie, Moon Knight, Black Widow, Sharon Carter, Ant-Man, Beast, Nova

Could also call the same idea above just with a different name and characters...has similar roots in the comic series as The New Avengers.

The Savage Avengers:
comic book cast of -> Conan the Barbarian (seriously), Wolverine, The Punisher, Cloak & Dagger, The Black Knight, Venom, and Electra

The story involves the Eye of Ogomato and going way into the past...he doesn't expand too much on this story past that.

The West Coast Avengers:
comic book cast of -> Hawkeye, Mockingbird (Hawkeye's wife), James Rhodes, America Chavez, Kate Bishop

And given the other MCU characters that would fit in this area of the United States could also include She-Hulk, Shang-Chi, The Wasp, Goliath, Cassie Lang, and Ant-Man...honestly the name is just absurd to me however seeing this group of characters comes together does seem plausible...just don't know if it'd be any good to see on screen.

The A-Force Avengers: comic book cast of -> She-Hulk, Dazler, Medusa, Niko Manori

In the comics this was the first all women group of super heroes. Considering the glimpse of something like this that we got in Endgame and how pandering it was though this isn't as likely to come anytime soon regarding an all women group of Avengers...at least not anything close to what the comic book cast was because who the heck are these other 3 names anyway???

But there's other options like The Marvels, Black Panther, Kate Bishop, Iron Heart, Echo, The Scarlet Scariff, Cassie Lang, Cosmo, and Yelena.

The Great Lakes Avengers:
comic book cast of -> lead by Mr. Immortal (dude from She-Hulk with all the wives), and that's all he added and there's no way I'm wasting my time googling this group of weird heroes....

Pretty much 0% this'll ever happen but a hilarious picture....

Curious to hear takes on this. Do any of these ideas seem appealing or interesting?? These would all be items if they were to appear would be a part of Phase 7 I would assume.

The Uncanny Avengers seems the most likely and one I'd personally be interested in as it'll involve Mutants and Avengers in some way.

Dark Avengers also sounds interesting and part of me is wondering if this is already in the cards for Secret Wars that's coming in Phase 6 with Kang being at the center.

Do any of these ideas sound interesting? This is a sloppy thrown together summary of this video below but it'll save you 15 minutes.

Personally I'd love to see something like a Midnight Suns team up with Blade, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, and Werewolf by Night. Basically the 4 of them hunting down supernatural threats.

I also hope there's more Werewolf by Night because that Halloween Special has been one of my favorite post-Endgame MCU products.

I love many of these teams in the comics, but I don't know if they'll translate any of these straight-up. But we may see some kind of adaptation under different names. For example, they'll all be 30 by the time they team up but I think Young Avengers are very likely at some point (Ms Marvel, Spider-Man, Kate Bishop, Ironheart). Only Kate Bishop is an actual Young Avenger though so maybe they call them Champions instead - I've heard that's a thing.

West Coast Avengers and New Avengers are also titles that made sense in comics but not really for film. But I'd love to see Hawkeye or Luke Cage take on a leadership role as they had in the comics.

We just need team-ups, damn it! 26 episodes of Luke Cage, 39 episodes of Jessica Jones, 23 episodes of Iron Fist and only 8 episodes of the Defenders - that was a horrible decision. Only Daredevil had the standalone comics history to back up his 39 episodes - the others should have had 1 season and a bunch of team-ups.

Maybe I'm alone in that but it's weird to me, giving trilogies to characters like Ant-Man that never had solo titles for very long. Luke Cage has lots of history but it's hardly ever just him - it's him and Iron Fist or the New Avengers or the Thunderbolts. Why try and squeeze solo content out of characters onto film that could never sustain it in print? Echo, Morbius, Eternals, El Muerto, Madam Web - none of these were ever profitable the first time around.

(Rant over)

To your last point, I think it's a combination of two things:

1) bad and/or lazy writing, and 2) legal issues surrounding all of these IP.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

personally, i wish the MCU would just avoid any spin-off type avengers teams completely. they've already done that and executed it brilliantly. let it go.

plus, you're going to get built-in team ups with the x-men and fantastic four coming along.

That's a good point. Then if they don't do full teams, I hope they do more stuff like Winter Soldier (Fury & Natasha), Civil War, Ragnarok and the Marvels where more than one established hero can get in on the action.

A movie hardly anyone is looking forward to seeing, being the sequel to a Disney+ series hardly anyone is watching, might very well result in rock bottom for the MCU come November. There's always the chance/hope that The Marvels is good, but even if it is I just don't know how much that's going to help its box office prospects. Especially seeing as it releases just a week after Dune: Part Two, which is looking more and more like a massive crowd-pleaser...
