I for one, look forward to X-Men and FF becoming part of the MCU.

I get the trepidation from those of you who are just fans of the films and don't have much knowledge of the Marvel comics over the past 40+ years. But coming from the comics, it feels weird for them to not be part of the same universe up until this point.

Because of the Fox ownership, we got a much weaker version of Civil War.

I have all the faith in the world in Feige and Co to give us a great transition to bring those properties together.

As someone in the thread suggested, I could see them using the process to undo the snap to make some changes in history that then leads to the creation of mutants.

Funny. When I was a kid I loved the X-Men and X-Men spin off comics and wanted nothing to do with books about the characters in the MCU. Complete opposite on the movies. I find all the X-Men movies pretty boring (maybe, Logan and Deadpool being the exceptions) but find most of MCU extremely entertaining.

Heck, tease the intro of mutants into Dr strange 2. Mordo hated the use of the time stone, even though earth would've been destroyed by Dormammu if strange hadn't used it .

Tying the appearance of mutants with undoing the snap would give Mordo even more resolve.

Endgame isn't rated yet - according to the last commercial I saw last night - and I think that has to be finalized prior to ticket sales. Wonder if they are making last minute tweaks or additions.

I know Europe didn't get the Shwarma scene in Avengers because it was added too late and Feige has allowed other directors to do things at last minute.

I've always wondered this. At a certain point - say, a 2 hour 15 minute movie - with trailers and everything else, might not leave enough time left at the end of the day for one last showing, same as a 3-hour movie wouldn't. I could do the math, but I'm too lazy, but at a certain point, I wonder if the runtime even matters in terms of "squeezing" in as many showings as possible.

The theaters get so little of the gate the first several weeks that it isn't even funny. And they may not have any choice on percentage or type of screens as this is often dictated by the distributors contract.

I think a good way of introducing their new properties would be in the climax of Endgame have this come out of nowhere:

I'm wondering how quickly the tickets are gonna go whenever they go on sale. I feel like I almost HAVE to see it opening weekend just for the sake of avoiding spoilers.

My only complaint is the placement of the Avenge the Fallen line. Hits them right in the eye line.

wierd. I have a lot of thoughts.
A) I second the placement. Who thought that was a good place to put the line???

B).. some of the faces are uncharacteristic of the characters.
I feel like I would need to go back and re-analyze each one.

The Rocket Raccoon... that one hurt my heart. he looks broken. He's about to cry.


But like.. Mantis on the other hand.. doesn't look like herself at all.
