Guardians 2 was very good in the theater, but it gets better and better. I think the CGI spectacle kinda fades into the background and the real character shines more and more. It really has the feels, especially when Cat Stevens starts up at the end for the last scene.

Have to say both Civil War and GotG 2 have both improved on rewatches for me. Still think they're both weaker than their predecessors, but still good movies.

To me, the first movie still has a lot more heart than the second. A lot of the humor in the second was so forced. That and the stupid Pacman fight scene.

The one thing 2 has over 1 is the villain. Ego was far better.

I wouldn't say much better. They did a great job of using the soundtrack in Vol 2. It fit the scenes very well.

Speaking of soundtracks, I watched I, Tonya last night I noticed a ton of GotG songs in it.

I forget if this has been addressed before, but what do y'all think about Iron Man possibly having the arc reactor back in his chest for infinity wars from images we've seen, etc.? I remember them setting that up as something that was killing him and had to be removed.

(I don't really think that's a spoiler or anything so I won't tag it, but I'll go back and edit it if people want me to)

Is it in his chest or just the suit? It was removed in IM3
I thought I saw that it was in his chest, when he was out of the suit.

I actually just looked it up and apparently it's part of the "bleeding edge" armor upgrades that he has. requires the arc reactor to be in his chest for whatever reason

Started my rewatch over the weekend. This will take the whole month probably with 17 films to watch. Incredible Hulk is increasingly meh as the years roll on. Feels pretty much off on its own compared to all the other films.
