What's crazy is that, as opposed to a feeling of oversaturation, I'm actually pretty excited to see all of these.

I did, however, purposely leave off the Venom spin off because I hate that this movie is happening and that they somehow got Hardy to be in it.

Me too. I think Hardy is a good actor. Nothing is really out about it, but I hope the movie ends up being R rated and very dark. That could be a lot of fun.TCTTS said:

I don't like that this movie is being made....ESPECIALLY by Sony, who can't seem to get anything right about this franchise. Seriously, is there anyone who is asking for a Black Cat/Silver Sable team-up spin-off movie? Because Sony seems to think we want it. And at one point they considered making an Aunt May origin movie.
Agreed - they sold Spidey to Marvel for two films and now they're back at it, making Spider-Man spinoffs that nobody asked for and piggybacking off the MCU.

I'm talking about how Sony announced their Venom film in March 2017. So I was wrong - it was one film. One film with the new Spider-Man - about 15 minutes of screen time - and they were off to the races with their brand new Spiderverse. 5 days later the news of the Black Cat and Silver Sable film broke as well.
It makes me insane. Homecoming wasn't even released yet and Sony was patting themselves on the back and trying to bank off their one superhero property again.
Tom Holland will appear in 6 MCU films by the time the arrangement is done, true, but Sony will be all too eager to quit sharing him after that, I assume.
