Agreed, I think the whole thing is fairly ridiculous. Some are proper names and other are just vaguely descriptive? Not exactly the most rock solid theory.AliasMan02 said:

why is that a stretch? it's literally on a gold chain worn around the neck.AliasMan02 said:

Also it provides a nice shoehorn into Ragnarok since the space stone is in AsgardTexasAggie_02 said:i expect the space stone to be the first one Thanos gets his hands on. It will allow him to traverse the galaxy much faster to pick up the othersGiveEmHellBill said:
The first Avengers movie had two stones: the Space Stone in the Tesseract (now in Odin's vault) and Loki's scepter (the Mind Stone now in Vision's forehead).
If anything, it was called the "Eye of Agamotto", but THAEoAOS doesn't make a good memeAliasMan02 said:TexasAggie_02 said:why is that a stretch? it's literally on a gold chain worn around the neck.AliasMan02 said:

Because they never refer to it as such, for one (that I recall). And certainly not like they do the Orb or the Tesseract.
And there's no narrative reason for them to match up with Thanos's name. If it's there, it's just a throwaway device.

I think Hela is trapped within the Soul stone. If she's been imprisoned or defeated for a thousand years, and suddenly emerges, it may be from the stone.
I doubt Heimdall has the Soul gem. After all, "it is unwise for there to be two infinity stones in the same place," right?

I think both are possible. Hela would make sense, as it is my understanding she can control others (also, powerful enough to crush Thor's hammer).
Heimdall has the various "clues" - orange eyes, ability to see countless souls across the galaxy, the orange spot on his breastplate.
As for the unwise quote, maybe no other Asgardians know about the soul stone and Odin's bluff is the reason Thanos comes there first. Controlling both time and space would be rather convenient for collecting other stones quickly.

Also Thor had that vision (from Scarlet Witch) in Age of Ultron where Heimdall's eyes were blank and he told Thor they were all dead.

Marvel is disgusting, and fabnboys of integrity need to boycott it immediately.....today they cancelled Black Panther & Crew, right on the heels of publicly blaming Diversity for poor sales, and less than a year after making a commitment for more Diverse stories and heroes. Shame.

That could be the excuse they use now. When they were filming Ultron, whedon wanted Loki. Disney said no, bc they didn't want to burn a movie appearance from his contract on a cameo. Whedon went straight to Tom Hiddleston and he agreed to do it. Disney found out and nixed it, so they used Idris.

Coates is a bestselling author, his work is taught in schools far and wide, and he has been awarded many awards. Marvel made many promises of longevity, prominence, and continuous publicity, and has utterly failed to deliver. I think we all know why he was so dramatically short-changed.
Any fanboy with an ounce of integrity, as I've stated, needs to boycott immediately.
Yup, if you read The Verge article linked they actually mention that his other Hugo nominated Black Panther series is entering it's second year.FL_Ag1998 said:Redstone said:

Isnt the Black Panther comic that Coates is authoring still going strong? Its actually good, soooo maybe that's why and Marvel is simply cancelling poor performing comics and keeping successful ones.
Then, again this is Redstone I'm talking to.

If it were Loki, perhaps one could argue it's an impressive illusion he can pull off as the current king of Asgard. That said, I don't know enough about Hela to say what she's about.
i'm wondering if they bring him back during/after infinity war? each actor signs a multi-movie deal, they just happened to kill him in the first movie. they could use the stones to bring him back. I hope they don't, but it was a thought that came up when chatting with co-worker.hurleyag said:
