You know, it seems to me if Janet had encountered the perils of the quantum realm, presumably including Kang, then she would have put the kibosh on any experiments in the realm. Or , at the very least, warned Hank.

Watched the trailer. So if they shrink down to the quantum realm, which is the smallest of the smallest particles, what is the surface they are walking on made of?

I would guess that the quantum realm would have quantum sidewalks/roadways/etc. for quantum folks to move around on. But I'm not even a regular sized stuff engineer, so I don't know.
