Howard was good as Rhodey. I think they just bailed on him because he's kind of a jerk and wanted more money. And it's not like they downgraded with Cheadle.

For sure. Plus Star Wars is coming off a bomb and a controversial hit, whereas Infinity War was an undisputed success across the world. Plus Captain Marvel and a Spider-Man film.
Put it in the Daredevil thread, but Season 3 was a gd masterpiece.
Does Charlie Cox have big screen, leading man charisma? I know that the Netflix series can't be continued, but a soft reboot with the same general cast could absolutely work at least as a series or some one-off "TV movie" type events. And I think the established mythos could work as a feature. Time jump a couple of years a center the plot around a case that NM&P are working by day and Daredevil is working by night, which was the original basic hook to the Affleck DD movie before it was recut/reshot to more heavily feature the ascendant young starlet, Jennifer Garner.
A Daredevil movie really would be tricky, but I'm confident it could work. It would be a pivot for a future phase, though, as the Avengers roster doesn't carry any street-level heroes other than Spidey.
Really just grasping at ways that we could continue to see this cast carry on, especially Cox, Henson. and D'Onofrio. Thought Bethel was great as Bullseye, and keeping that casting for future use down the road would be worthwhile no matter what. Run with Dark Avengers and let his Bullseye be the new Hawkeye.

It'll have to be against the background of Ragnarok, right? As in, what she was going when Asgard was destroyed and her journey to try and be reunited with her people? Probably in one of the other realms.

Has there been anything at all that actually says when along the timeline these shows take place? Or even if they happen in the same universe?
I feel pretty sure that Loki's series will take place between Thor and Avengers, about him traveling between worlds and ultimately gaining control of the Mind Stone and the Chitauri.
OR, if it turns out the snap really just sent people to an alternate reality, then maybe we see Loki in that context.
