I am guessing they are going with JJ being before Avengers 2.

The movies are set in "real time".

Jessica Jones was set in early 2015. AOU was mid 2015.

Upfront occurred after AOU/before Ant Man.

Also:
When Jessica checks the hospital computer for the date of the accident (the day she broke free of Kilgrave) she searches for 1/20/14. According to Trish, the show takes place about a year after Jessica gets away from Kilgrave.

But to change things up, the Marvel Wiki shows the bulk of the story takes place in Oct/Nov 2015, which makes NO sense given how much snow is in NY during the show.

Yeah, it can snow early in New York, but NOTHIGN like was shown in the show that early into the cooler seasons.

It makes more sense being in Jan-Feb-Mar time frame....

Not MCU related, but Marvel related.

If you are unaware, Marvel has a whole Civil War 2 crossover event in the comics this Spring/Summer.

They have now started teasing the next crossover after that....



All the discussion of Marvel crapping on characters that Disney does not own the movie rights too seems to be coming true again (see cancelling Fantastic Four comic, they made Spiderman Doc Oc for a few years, the have been changing the origins of Mutants to Inhumans for grins (see Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver), they have made ALL the X-men and mutants sterile so they cannot make new mutants (and give Fox more characters to play with), etc.

This first hint seems to indicate a "death" of the mutant "universe"....

Chris Pratt is too cool. Too bad the cassette player package is already sold out I was legitimately thinking of getting one.

Marvel is not going to end the X-Men comics. It might mean some new twist for them, perhaps a separation. But the X-books are still incredibly popular, and Marvel isn't going to stomp on their fans that way. In fact this is actually most likely a troll/gimmick to get X-fans talking because a lot of us happen to be highly sensitive about how much Marvel hates us lol.
