Stoked to see AEW and WWE this week.
Excited for tomorrow. Wish Jericho would make a live appearance but he's on the road with Fozzy.
I'm assuming he will be at the Garland show. He's on the poster for that one, but not Cedar Park.
Around 2011/2012 I was in the middle of a mediocre lap dance at an overpriced Dallas strip joint called The Clubhouse. This is around 1am and I am drunk enough to be there spending $20 to help put some skank through "law school" - so pretty drunk.
My buddy taps my shoulder and I brush him away (trying to concentrate on the task at hand), he taps again and, again, I brush him away. Finally he shakes me fairly hard and I yell "Dude! I'm in the middle of a lap da."
He interrupts: "Chris Jericho is over there!"
I push this glittered up entertainer to the side, as to see around her fakers, and spot none other than the Ayatollah of Rock-n-Rolla himself. No shirt. Blue-jean jacket with the sleeves cut off. Denim jeans tucked into his combat boots.
I stick a $20 bill into whatever article of clothing this aspiring litigator was left wearing, excuse myself, and stumble my way over to the man of 1001 holds. I put my hand out and slur some monologue of how big a fan I was of his work in WCW and God knows what else.
He graciously shakes my hand and thanks me for the kind words. Then immediately walks past me to a table, picks up what seems like a 2 gallon sized bottle of Grey Goose, picks out three topless ladies with, I assume, various career ambitions, and they all head upstairs to earn that tuition money
I don't know if The Clubhouse is still around, as my wife prefers my extra money to go toward my own student loans, but if you want to meet Le Champion while AEW is in DFW, that might be a good place to start.

Jericho may or may not be there, but I hope Sting is. He lives in Waxahachie so it's just a drive up 35 for him to Garland.

He actually discusses this night on an episode of his podcasts and specifically mentions the giant bottle of greygoose that the owners gave him. Wasn't a member of pantera owner or part owner? Hilarious.

The Clubhouse used to be owned by Pantera, their records were all over the walls, and Dimebag Darrell's motorcycle was in the entry way.

That main show was incredible. Atmosphere was awesome. Matches were outstanding. Got Dustin in a dark match before + Cassidy, Jungle Boy, Archer and more during the post Dynamite show. Pretty sure every Texas talent on the roster got some involvement. Seeing Sting was great. Tony Khan came out before and after the show to speak to the crowd. Couldn't have asked for more. Bravo AEW.
Just got home. Bunk pretty much said it all. The show, atmosphere, and fans were great. Way different from a WWE crowd.
AEW Dark started at 6pm then Elevation started right after Dynamite and ended at 10:50pm. Penta and Eddie Kingston talked to the crowd afterwards as they were the main event for Elevation. Over 4 hours but it was still fun and fans were engage the whole time. Nice to see TK come out and talk to the crowd before and after Dynamite. I feel like a little kid again.
If you have a chance to see AEW live, DO IT!!

Uso vs Mysterio for Smackdown Tag Title.. what a great start. This was a ppv level match that frankly was just just great. Really appreciated the new spots. Really loving this and can't wait to see what happens this Friday.
I am curious how they naturally move on to Seth vs Edge, like is Seth going to be slimey and screw edge or just continue to mock him
