Star Wars is always worth it.

This is a tough one, and honestly I don't think I'd have made this trade knowing what I've seen of Outlander. We tapped out a few episodes into season 5. There were just too many stupid storylines that we got tired of slogging through.

This is after several extremely difficult to slog through stuff in prior seasons - believe me, you'll know when you see em. Having said that, Outlander does have a LOT of good attributes. If you're a history buff, it's a gold mine. There's some good characters and overall plot.

The female lead is also reasonably hot. Vaya con Dios.

I've seen some of it already. And the lead bad guy in at least the first season is one of the dwarves in The Hobbit, so I've already got a lot of bad jokes lined up.

You also have to consider in 15 years of marriage, I've watched a lot of bad TV to get her to watch some truly great TV. She's just started the first season of Lost as my kids and I finish up the final season (I watched it back in the day). I also got her into The Office, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and The Last Kingdom.
Still haven't given up on getting her to watch The Shield.. I figure I'll need to develop terminal cancer to get her on board with Battlestar Galactica 2004 though.

My wife would have given up on Aggie sports shortly after college without me. I'd probably watch anything she wants to watch for all of the suffering I've put her through over the past 18 years.

That's not too too bad of a trade. Outlander is actually pretty good until they move to the Americas, whatever season that is. And as far as The Last Kingdom my wife needed no convincing once she saw the lead actor.

Same on the last kingdom with the missus.

I don't think R2 was around when Luke and Leia were born and he probably was never told….only Obiwan and Yoda were observing the birth and I assume you can throw Bail Organa in there with their conversation at the end of RotS…..but I don't think R2 actually knew…..

Now that I think about it….did R2 even know Anikan was/became Vader? Think about how RotS ended….R2 is with Anikan/Vader when he lands on Mustafar but R2 stays on the ship and doesn't see anything that happens nor does he see any of Order 66…..
