Thoughts folks here might get a kick out of this review of Star Wars Outlaws….btw this is the original Zero Punctuation but had to change his production name to Fully Ramblomatic due to a channel switch from The Escapist…..also NSFW!

He does pose an interesting thought/question at the tail end of his review….

I am 34 and remember watching Yahtzee in high school.
This could have been made 17 years ago because his biting humor and insight hasn't changed

Ewan doesn't want his kenobi legacy to end with that abortion of a series we got. Don't blame him. Would love to see a new series with him assuming it's Andor level like others have said.

Lawrence of Arabia on a part of Tatooine we've never been/seen before. Obi-Wan in an old school epic, caught up in a native war, fought across sweeping desert landscapes, etc, etc. We basically solved it over a decade ago on this very site, and the good thing is Lucasfilm whiffed so bad on their version that a lot (but not all) of ours is still viable. Regardless, it's maddening how obvious the basic conceit should be.

Is there anybody you know that could get it to them to consider the ideas in that thread? Nobody on the thread would end up with a writing credit I'm guessing, but they would get a better product.

I might disagree. Rebels took place on a desert world that was a manufacturing hub for Imperial fighters. They could easily retcon Tatooine with something similar and make it more relevant to the Empire.

We've only seen a small portion of the planet to date.

I'm with you. It can rise to a level of Empire attention. We're talking about the Empire here...it's not like some squabble on one planet generally means much in their grand scheme. They have enough going on to tie them up. Did a quick google search on just how many planets the Empire ruled over. Sources vary, I'm not the most versed in it. But seems like it's a **** ton.

I am on the other side. I've seen literal fan fiction (on this site) that is better written.

I get that they wanted to show DV go full tilt, which was cool though.
