So I guess given Hera's speech about preventing another war means Thrawn is going to set the ground work for the First Order. Wasn't that sort of foreshadowed in the Mandalorian, too?

Yeah, one of the scenes had Moff Gideon communicating with the rest of the imperial remnant, referenced Thrawn and had direct connections to the First Order

Filoni could definitely make some boring fluff side stories, but he has hit the right moments repeatedly.

I had watched obiwan before watching any clone wars and rebels and I was shocked how the best obiwan moment was almost a straight rip off of the Ashoka/Vader showdown.

I've only watched the Ashoka essentials for clone wars, but watched all of rebels and I have pretty high hopes based on his work so far.

I am partially hoping they can convert it somehow with a walkway or something to get there and do the space 220 elevator crap. Make it an extension of galaxy's edge or something

It really is awesome. We had a blast when we were there last May and just were constantly blown away by the entire setup. Heck, I could have spent an entire day geeking out over all the design and engineering work that went into just the cabins!
